"Poison? Could it be Corpus? No, wait, that's impossible. Unless..." Aska's words trailed off, standing between the two doors and staring at the bodies.

"I can burn them if you wish, but if it does release poison into the air, then we'd have a problem." With a sudden jolt of shocking discovery, Sydney turned to the group, for once looking wide-eyed and scared.
"Hey, when you shot those zombies wit fire arrows, Aska," Sydney said, feeling extraordinarily sick all of a sudden, "Please tell me that it did not release the poison..." He raised his hand to his mouth and coughed, he looked down to see fresh blood all over his black glove.
The blood was his.

(yup. you've been on and weren;t postign so we moved right ahead xD )
Shaon turned to sydney, but the move made her stumble. "We should get outta here, we can come back..." her words were beggining to drag, but even if she knew it, her mind wouldn't clear. she felt like she'd battled rounds with athramir again and been slammed into the wall. her hand grabbed at the wall and she steadied herself, but it didn;t help at all.

Knowing that her mask and staying calm the whole time had helped to make her the least sick, Aska picked Shaon up with an arm and beckoned the two others to do the same.
((By the way, poison dissolves very quickly in corpses and is destroyed even quicker by heat. It would never work like that but, still, it's very clever wink Also, I was thinking that it would be neat to have a shrine to Dagoth Ur underneath the castle and have to fight off Corpus Zombies but, oh well.))

((I was just thinking the fumes from the burning body would make the effect worse))
Leo grabbed Sydney and Shaon each with one shoulder and started walking back towards the entrance.
"We're going to have to figure out a way to clean this out. If not, I can go back using my resist poison spell and I should be fine. Assuming I'm not ambushed or something."

Shaon moaned, she'd forgotten to brign ehr mask down with her, which probably didn;t help things well. she didn't feel very well and gave up trying to understand what was going on as her sister carried her. she wondered if sydney was ok...

Sydney was being dragged down the corridor by Leo, thats all he knew.
He looked down and through his double vision, saw that there was blood all over his robes.
He'd only just got them cleaned...

Leo noticed that his brother was starting to become more conscious. With an effort, Leo lifted Sydney and carried him over his shoulder, as embarrassing as it must have been for him.

"First carried to an inn by Shaon... Now carried out of the basement of my own home by Leo..." Sydney said with a joking sound and a slight chuckle, "Will the humiliation never end?" He added, also jokingly.

shaon heard the words and maoned from Aska's arms, not picking up the humor. "if your so humiliated why don't you get someone strong like Dixenos to do the job. isn;t as bad when it's beast doing the saving." she tried to blink away her weariness, but it didn't work. damn poison.

Leo snorted. "See that Sydney? A bit of poison in her system and she's talking about our dear brother as if he were a wild animal. You shouldn't be so embarrassed as her." Leo said, coming up upon the threshold of the entrance into Sydney's regular home.

Sydney got himself off of Leo's shoulder and dropped down to all fours, coughing blood on to the floor.
He looked at the floor, which was now covered in blood, and then looked up to Leo and said with a smile, "Oh well, it's my house."

Setting Shaon down and leaning against the wall a few feet away from the Speaker and avoiding the blood, Aska whisked out an apple and gave it to the bleeding form. "It won't cure the poison, but it should give you something to concentrate on. And, no, it isn't one of the poisoned ones from the sanctuary."

Shaon slumped to the ground, nearly oblivious to their talk as she focused on the floor. she felt like she was going to hack up her insides. not fun at all. she would rather be hit in the side again with an axe then sit here feeling incapacitated becuase of something she couldn't see.
