"It is better than the army base I suppose." Ryoga said as he brought the car to a stop and stepped out. "And it looks a lot better than the houses surrounding it, like a rose in the middle of the desert." He smiled at her as he opened the back door and picked up the child.

Kaelot stepped out of the car aswell, a small smile on her face, . She started to walk towards the building, then looked back at him. "come on, then." she said.

Kaelot looked back at him. "Hey, don't give me any of the cheek!" she said, but she was still smiling. she looked at the kid. "Make sure you don't wake up the kid," she said, "he's had a rough few day's. He deserves some sleep."
