Hymn of the Silent

Kaosu grinned, letting Rei's hand leave him. He turned his head, the grin plastered wildly on his face. Nodding, he turned and looked at Aichou. "It sounds like my kind of thing." He walked up next to the captain and nodded again, his stance loose.

"The sooner we go, the happier I'll be...captain." Kaosu added, wrapping a hand around his zanpakutou. "Because you just described me perfectly."

When he saw Kaosu standing over with Aichu he felt a little bit jealous, he had always liked that teacher very much. Maybe not in the traditional, will you go out with me, here are some flowers sense; but at the same time it was still there. He liked her more in an: "I like the way you do things, you are attractive, but I more admire the way you carry yourself and that insane bloodlust then appearance" kinda way. As he thought about it he smirked as he stood there and vigorously shook his head, he had to get on this, and get on it now, so he could get this battle over with and finish his training towards his shikai...it was so close to completion. Not much longer before it was. He was visibly shaking with excitement when he walked towards that group and he stood right beside Kaosu. He may not have been hand picked like Kaosu or Hitari were, but he didn't care. He smiled anyways and he took a deep breath as he looked Kaosu in the eye. "I look forward to fighting with you Kaosu." He said with a nod.

"I wouldn't have it any other way, Haro." Kaosu smiled, patting his friend on the shoulder. "This time, we'll be fighting together, which may be wierd. If it helps you, just picture my head on their necks. Might help ya." He laughed nervously, looking up at Aichou.

The air was hectic and tense. Almost everyone was silent, looking at Aichou with some expectancy.

Hikari takes a look at those who have gathered around Aichou by now. "Ai-chan spoke like there was more than one force. Don't we need strong shinigami to meet the other...or others?" "Child. Don't think too hard about it." With a sigh, she begins pointing at those gathered. "Sukonku-baka. He was pretty strong." Her voice is quiet, but it's not doubtful anybody wouldn't hear her. "Ato-san... He didn't even say anything when I greeted him." She doesn't know anything about Rei. Then she turns to Kaosu. "Ninniku-san. Ai-chan picked him, so he should be strong." Then she looks back to Shunketsu and Haruko. "Hentai-san and Poku-chan are strong, so they should be fine." She feels strangely anxious. She's not scared, but she can't say she's fully confident either. It's strange, really. "Ha! You're so weak, Little Princess!" "You can just shut up." "Oh, no no, Little Princess. You won't be dieing. I still need you. Just use your zanpakutou. The twins will tell you their name." Hikari shakes her head. In a whisper even quieter than she's been speaking. "Stupid Sumizome..."

"Alright, listen. There are two forces I can sense. One of them I'm familiar with the aura. The other one I don't know. The approach is slow right now, apparently it's gone down to a crawl, and I don't know why. We'll head to where the largest concentration of energy is. Most likely the stronger enemy will be there, and that's who I'm going for. I don't care who makes it in and who doesn't. That's not my concern. My concern is killing people and making sure you all don't ******** die in the process. We can't kill each other later if you die today, right?"

Aichou grins then, the usual grin she's always had. She nods as the next joins her group..she makes no objection, and in fact looks happy about another addition.

"If you've got the cajones to step up, I welcome you. We'll be going very soon."

Masaru listened to the captain speak of her squad's purpose and current mission. It seemed none of the others were interested, and it seemed this elevelth squad needed as many people it could take. He thought to himself, if he was to stay in a fighting squad, then it was only obvious that his fighting talents would improve over time. But even though he enjoyed a good fight, he didn't feel like becoming a huge meat shield for Seireitei right now, especially so early in his training. He was really torn over the decision to join the eleventh squad.

Finally, he came to a conclusion in his mind and approached the eleventh squad captain, whose dormant, suppressed reiatsu still made him feel weak in the knees. He stood at attention before her, hoping to not be ignored again.

"Ma'am, I wish to fight on the front lines against the largest force."

His thoughts continued to conflict themselves again. What if fighting all the time wasn't cut out for him in the future? Would he be able to change squads, or would he be bound to this squad? Would he leave this battle to see what the future holds for him at all? It was a bit too late to see now, unless he was rejected by the captain.

Shunketsu heard Aichou's offer to join the front lines...and he was rather divided within...On one hand, he knew his strength was his zanjutsu fighting skills...on the other, he didn't have that bloodlust that Aichou seemed to describe the 11th squad as having...

Shunketsu didn't have to think about it for long though, he had a score to settle, and this was the fastest way to do so...and so, he stepped up...He didn't really enjoy the color of blood...and he didn't actually use a sword per se, but he wanted to tear some enemies apart, and that was enough to swing his decision...

"neh! Aichou-taichou((for lack of memory of Aichou's last name))...Count me in...If I don't join your group here, I don't know what other possible use my skills can come in handy for..."

::Medixia can't help but scoff and smirk as she watches and listens to Aichou. She didn't really describe Hikari too well. The girl has some interesting skill, but she's seen that Shunketsu, the latest to join, has more zanjutsu skill. Hikari, however, flat-out excels at kidou. With a sigh, she looks at those gathered in the group. She knows Haro and Shunketsu. She doesn't know Kaosu, who Aichou called, or the other...boy? who walked up. She stalks behind Shunketsu for a moment before grasping his shoulder. She isn't anything like Aichou described, and she knows it. She's a healer who just so happens to know how to put up a good fight.::

You and Hikari keep at each other's backs. I don't want to hear about you dieing out there. Hear?

::With that, she takes a step back. She's wearing a smirk before she turns and begins walking away. She's waving in the general direction of Aichou.::

Sorry taichou, but I have no bloodlust, and I'm fairly new to zanjutsu. I'm better at support and stuff. You get bloodied; I help.

::She can feel her smirking face change. There's an anxiousness to her demeanor as she rejoins the few shinigami academy students left that haven't yet joined Aichou. Just come back safe and unbloodied... With a sigh, she knows there's a chance she'd be called to a fighting squad, even that one, for just her skills. Healing. She can't use chiyu, but her salves and such are second to none (for using no magical properties that is).::

She muses..and looks at the new approaching person with a nod.

"I won't turn anyone away. There are others who need you all too, though. In the end, coming with me just means you might have to run if you're too weak, all of you. If he's there like I think he is..it may be a short fight. I got a feel of all the forces that came in a while back. This guy..he's powerful. I can safely call him my equal, in fact..maybe even a little stronger. Listen, the most important thing is your spirit. Your fighting spirit. I don't care if you tear someone apart with your bare hands, to be honest."

She ruffles Hikari's hair then, and chuckles..

"Kid, you may be a spellslinger, but you're crazy like me. I'm grooming you to kill me someday if I survive this entire nonsense, so if I die here soon in all the fighting, I'll expect you to bury my guitar. She'd get lonely without me around."

Aichou stretches then..and pops her back, arms, neck, and knuckles. Her head turns and she takes in everyone who's joined her..and she nods..

"We move out the second the old man gives the word. We take care of weeds. Have your gardening equipment on you. If this gets too hard, I might even have to use Kidou. That would be embarassing for me..no offense or anything. I'm excited..if he gives the word for weapons to be released here on the grounds, it means the ones who can fight at full power. Won't that be nice?"

She muses then..and chuckles.

"We'll have backup soon anyway. We have at least two lost souls coming to join us. Hope it's gone well."

Once Aichou seemed to have made her choices, the other teachers appeared to do the same.

Chiyo, Miyoko, Hiren, Yukie, and Korin all taking their places together near Aichou. The women nodded faintly among themselves, and Korin adjusted the black gloves on her hands.

"I'll be going with you, Aichou. Seireitei Security is my job, after all," she reached up, adjusting a small band around her cropped pink hair.

Meanwhile, Chiyo, Miyoko, and Hiren gestured to the remaining students, and Hiren was the one who spoke up.

"The rest of you will be accompanying me. Anyone planning on being support should go with Yukie, since she's our head healer," the woman with the long white hair nodded faintly, leaning against her staff.

::Medixia looks at the exchange between Aichou-taichou and Hikari. She almost snickers. There seems to be a nice bit of a bond there. With a sigh, she listens to Hiren-taichou. She hadn't heard the woman's name yet, but she knew better than to interupt just to get it. Besides, introductions can wait. For now, she's heading out to care for those that get bloodied. She walks over to the indicated Yukie-taichou. With a grin and a v-for-victory sign, she says hello.::

Yo. Kusinagi Medixia reporting for duty, Yukie-taichou.

::In the back of her mind, she's hoping that Yukie didn't hear the Kusinagi name while she was living...or forgot it or something. She hated being treated differently, but she wasn't about to change her name. Honor the parents and all. This thought enacts her nervous habit, rubbing the ring of her zanpakutou.::

Hikari felt her face go hot for some reason. Her parents had never done anything like that. She felt calmed, a compliment and friendly manner from Aichou. She smiles brightly as she looks around at those joining. The force going to meet the 'largest' enemy force is growing, and that's at least promising. She can only feel that this is going to be interesting, certainly intense. "I feel like I can release my friend..." she barely whispers. Then she nods. "I can." a bit louder.

Kaosu groaned inside. He still hadn't conjured up enough strength for his zanpakutou to say it's name. All this time, he had been searching for the right strength, and still it was too far elusive. Still, he'd fight with what he had. And, by his track record, it was pretty good. Shikai would just give him...a level playing field with his opponents. Being better was always nice.

He remained silent, shifting his weight-bearing leg from his right to his left. He noticed another join the small ranks and smiled. Shunketsu...right? Yeah. Gotta be.

He stopped a moment, a sudden realization popping into his head. Wait...I've never met Aichou before. How does she know my name? He frowned, and then nodded it off. Gah, what does it matter? But still, a little itch stayed in the back of his head. It was unsettling, is all. Unsettling in a world that was currently being rocked off it's hinges.

Well, she knows most of the students anyway, due to roster and whatnot. Aichou closes her eyes and seeks out anything she can beyond the doors. Even from this distance, she can make their leader out..the rest..well.

"A lot of them. I suppose it means Enrai and I will get a real workout..but you know? I've felt a weird distortion for some time..like there's a dimensional shift about to happen, and not from Hell, either. It's almost as if..no, can't be. I'm not going to concern myself with it. Anyway, when we engage the enemy, fight any opponents you want, but don't even think about engaging the commander. He's too much for you. If you're forced to engage him, do your best to lure him back to where I or another Captain is at. Normally I'd say it's fine to die at the hands of a stronger enemy, but there's a difference between that and suicide."

Haro smiled as he stood there and he looked over all the people who had come to join the 11th devision. He shook his head slightly, a little concerned as to the other devisions, whom would be their help and such things like that. But the 11th devision seemed to be the one he wanted to be in. If another captain came out right now and said the same sort of thing that Aichu did, he would have switched over due to too many people being here with her at the moment, but nobody did, so he stayed where he was. He listened to each and every word that she had to say and then he nodded to her and looked at his classmates. "Alright then, it's time to go out there and kick some a** eh Kaosu?" He asked with a grin as he looked at his friend. He needed to gain some more strength and then spend a little more time with his soul to gain access to his shikai, but he was going ot do it, and he was going to do it soon. He grinned from ear to ear and then he nodded to himself as he stood strong and he waited for the order to attack.
