"We are warriors that have come to aid the King!" Lexenos shouted back. "Will you open the gates that we may enter?" Lexenos was starting to get a little eager to hear what new bit of fun might be had today, and it was starting to show itself in his voice.

"What proof do you have, that you are the ones the king had reque-" He voice was cut off by a girls voice.
"They are." The girl simply said.
"How can you be sure? They have no proof!" The other voice said.
"Trust me they are let them in! The king needs to see them!" The little girls voice was getting angry at the other voice, and started yelling at him.
"Ow! What was that for!" A small pause... "Ok, ok, ok... Let them in!" The voice was now angry, from what ever the girl did to him.
The gate had started to creek, and slowly started to move, as it went down. The gate had fallin about 3 feet from the ground with a loud booming noise.
"Wow... So weird." Varnis had said as he started to walk into the castle.

"Wow. That has to be some little girl if she was able to command the obedience of a grown man," Lexenos said. He had a wide-eyed, amazed look on his face.

A short little girl had appeared on the draw bridge. She was wearing a blue robe, with designs of dragons on it. She stood about 5'2".
"Vaaaarrrrrnnnniiiiiisssss!" She squeed as she ran down the draw bridge, and jumped onto Varnis, knocking him over.
Fighting her off form him Varnis stood back up, and looked around a little bit. Why did she have to be here????... He thought to himself. "Lex, this is my little sister, Shery. She is very energetic..." He said as she was still clinging onto Varnis' leg, pulling him down again.

Lexenos' face broke into a huge smile and he bowed to the girl who was Varnis' sister. "It it truely an honor, fair maden," he said as his hair fell over his shoulder, the ring glittering brightly in the sunshine.

"Oooohhh..." She looked at the ring in Lex's hair. "What is that? I like it" She said as she walked up to the ring, and picked it up.
Varnis had turned around as she said that, and just stood there, looking off into the distance. She had better not tell him our secret He thought to him self, as he stood there.

"Ah... I like it too. Its pretty." She said as she walked back onto the draw bridge. "Come on lets go!" She said as she ran back down to the castle.
"We really should go to the king now." He siad as he was just standing there then started walking.
((I keep dosing off. I need to take a nap lol.))

Ahren watched as Varnis was reunited with his sister. A small smile curved over her face despite herself. She noted the ring in Lexenos' braid, impressed and wary. As the girl ran off, Ahren fell into step next to Varnis. "So," she began, her staff tapping the ground in time with her feet. "How is it that your sister came to be in the castle?"
