That made me smile. At least in the midst of all the panic and "OH GOD WHAT DO I DO" I've got good friends.
Oh yeah, and it is Canada. I leave on Thursday. I'm really nervous but really excited too. I've never lived far from home.

Cynder Zelyhon Yeah, you're right. I guess I got it mixed up with SMT: Digital Devil Saga. I don't understand how I could do that, since the names are so far apart from each other. XD I don't actually have a DS, so I still haven't played it, and it's not really likely I'll get a chance to play it anytime soon. However, I have gotten into the other SMT games big-time. I finished Persona 3 towards the beginning of summer and am in the process of working my way through Persona 4. Both of them have been some of the most fun RPGs I've played in a long time, with really interesting, different stories and great, well developed characters. You played any of the Persona series, Cyn? Oh yeah, the names of those two games are SO different. rolleyes I was making that mistake myself for a short bit. As for Persona, I've not actually played any of them yet. I'm waiting for the Remake to hit the PSP and grab that. From there I'm going to convert P2: Innocent Sin and P2: Eternal Punishment to PSP format (modded mine a long time ago just for this and emulation). After that I'm considering holding out for P3P, which is a PSP remake of P3 with the ability to choose what gender you want your MC to be. After all that I'll move on to P4, if I'm not completely burned the heck out on Persona by then. When it comes to MegaTen games, my sole, glorious experience with them is Nocturne. That game is so incredibly unforgiving, but so much fun. It's available for fairly reasonable prices on Amazon through the store fronts. Picked mine up for just over $40 and change through E-Knight, and that's after the second reprint they did! Forget even finding the strategy guide in good condition, unless you want to pay upwards of $200. I bought the digital copy for about $20 from Doublejump, and I'm in the process of ripping it from the site because you can only access it through a browser plug-in in their forums scream . Due to people ripping off the free Disgaea guide so hard through E-bay, they completely disallow downloading their guides now. I haven't played Persona 1 or 2 (either of Persona 2). I hadn't heard that they were making P3 for the PSP, but if they keep things the same as the PS2 version, I'm sure that you're going to enjoy it. Persona's so far the only MegaTen game I've played, but I've got Digital Devil Saga I sitting on my self, waiting for me to finish. I also just ordered Nocturne and DDS II off of Amazon and am waiting for them to get in. With the internet the way it is, I don't really see the point of buying Strategy guides anymore. Anything I'd need help on I can find on Gamefaqs or the like. Plus, I've never been that into having a big book to tell me how to do everything from the start anyways. I prefer a playthrough on my own, then using something to help pick up what I missed. I would say, though, that if you're going to be playing P4 (or if you decide to go for P3 not on the PSP and get the FES version out for PS2) to get them ahead of time, since it can get incredibly frustrating trying to find them after they've been out for a while.

Rae x Rae Well thanks for the luffles. That made me smile. At least in the midst of all the panic and "OH GOD WHAT DO I DO" I've got good friends.
Oh yeah, and it is Canada. I leave on Thursday. I'm really nervous but really excited too. I've never lived far from home. Smiles and laughter, best medicine. I also have a little bit of advice I got from an old friend: "The time for panic is when the time for panic is over." Hard words to live by, but if you can into this mind set, stress becomes a lot easier to manage. I had a hard time understanding it until I saw it in action, and the end result is kinda funny. xd Zelyhon I haven't played Persona 1 or 2 (either of Persona 2). I hadn't heard that they were making P3 for the PSP, but if they keep things the same as the PS2 version, I'm sure that you're going to enjoy it. P3P is a discustingly recent annoucement. Only reason I know is from people putting scans up on 4chan. I got P3, and later P3 FEStival for the missus a while back, and she played it into the ground. Nocturne's guide is good for the extra bits, like a puzzle game that's really difficult to figure out some puzzles on. The online guides do not accurately discribe how to solve most of these puzzles (I checked gonk ), and the beastiary. There are also multiple endings, and getting Dante to join you is a huge pain in the a**. For just a play through, it's not necessary, but for accomplishing difficult in game tasks, it's a life saver. Plus, pretty pictures! DDS I never played, though I want to try it. Nothing says messed up like Mouth boobs. rofl I think that P4 is going to be one of my game purchases soon, just so I don't have to fuss later like I've had to with Nocturne eek HAET! scream

Holy s**t, Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. That is all I have to say. Omg I just finished credits and it said "to be continued" that means there's another one coming omg omg omg *splode*
Well that and that I may be sleeping on the streets of Vancouver when I get there D: I'm not sure what's going on with where I was supposed to stay. But I'll figure it out.
Edit: I bring you RaeRae 2.0, now smaller, lighter, and cuter than the previous model! First, new hair, and then new hair AND new glasses!

I'm trucking my way through Diabolical Box pretty well. I hope there's another one. The Professor Layton games are fun.
Oh, and I just found out that ADV is gone. They've transferred most of their assets to other companies. Many of the staff have gotten jobs with the new companies, but for the most part...ADV is done.
I wish I could say I didn't see it coming, but I knew that something was up.
And Rae, our closet is always available for you if you ever need it. ninja
