So I've managed to depress myself by staying up way too late and accomplishing absolutely jack s**t. Seriously, I have no idea what the hell I've been doing. And I'm not drunk or anything.

Good God I need to get out of this place.

*highfive!* Mine's coming up next month.

...maybe I'll just show up late tonight, since the people I really want to hang out with won't be there until closer to 11. Laaame.

For any fans of Utada Hikaru...

I just found a live studio version of Simple & Clean. It sounds sooo good, her voice is better than the recordings and her improvisations are a nice touch. She looks and sounds like such a normal person who has passion for her music. <3

I've got in my head of a blue-eyed boy, dancing in the bed of a two ton ford. Oh lord it's love, I just can't say, but I've had that song in my head all day. x.x

Happy 21st birthday, Claire. I wish you were still here so I could take you out barhopping and spend more time with you like we used to. Those angels in heaven better be taking you out and getting drunk just so you can say you've done it.

So apparently the biggest thing to threaten academic integrity as of late is a cracker. You would think that University President would have the balls enough to tell the Catholic League to ******** off. Seriously, if you don't want people leaving the church with the Eucharist then don't give it to them. Kind of hard to say it's a hostage when you ******** gave it to the kid in the first place. Then you have the audacity to say he caused a disruption when you're the ones who physically assaulted him.

Then you want a professor fired for pointing out the absurdity of your actions over a wheat wafer.

Sheesh, stand up for the ******** principles of academia and the first amendment would you. It's kind of your ******** job.

That was quite amazing.

If I can get a ... acoustic version like that as an mp3, it'll be one of my favorite songs to have on my short list of favorite songs of all time. ;P

On a side note,
I found my singing voice on July 4th, whilst driving. I used to try to sing for years, but I finally hit that real singing voice then...

My voice has begun to change because I like to sing with it. I can hear my own voice just sounding different, and it's weird. But I don't mind. When I hear it. I wanna keep singing, and keep it perfect.

I made one person melt so far, whilst being nervous using it. She was in my car, and it's weird to see that authentic smile in the corner of your eye. I get so nervous. ~~~

It's weird. But you can feel it. Hear it.

I love it. ~

Blah. I don't want to go to the work meeting...they never have anything for cashiers to DO, and apparently there's nothing big going on for DI, either. D:

...at least he's coming over before the meeting. =)

I still haven't found my singing voice, even though I sing quite a bit, which makes me think that maybe I don't have one. ):

I wanna hear you sing, Frank.

Btw Aeo - I added you on Skype. I don't remember what my username is but it's some no-nonsense combination of my first & last name... just search me by name, there are only like five people across the internet named Aivi Tran.
PostPosted: Sun Jul 13, 2008 8:14 pm

Aivi: You know watching that studio video of Utada Hikaru, I was thinking how awesome it'd be if you two played together.
I'm such a dork, I know. emo

Wooh, you'll get to hear how annoying my voice can be over the phone. pirate
I don't know why but whenever I hear my voice over a phone I think it sounds annoying. sweatdrop

But yeah, anytime you want to talk is good with me, even despite the time zone differences at the moment. emo

I typically don't care for musicians as people. They sell me their music, so I just see them as the creators of a product. But I would love to be friends with Hikaru, and playing piano for her would be a blast! I feel like I can relate to her... she is American-born, spent a significant amount of time overseas, went to an international school, and created her own music at a young age. Her music has inspired me since the 8th grade, and that's scary because she's only 3 years older than me... Of course, she's an international pop star and I'm just me. :]

Aeo - Do you have a webcam too or just a mic? (I'm sick right now by the way, so I'm going to sound awful! Not that I wouldn't sound awful normally anyway, haha.)
PostPosted: Sun Jul 13, 2008 11:02 pm

I feel the same about most musicians as well. But Hikaru seems far different then most musicians.

You may be you, but you're a very talented you. And one day your name will be famous as well. cool

Just a mic, I in fact just bought it last weekend. But no, no web cam. I don't think I could talk in front of a camera, I'm pretty camera shy when it comes to video. emo

lol If you sound awful, and I sound annoying, we'd be awfully annoying together. rofl

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Okay. If you'll be around in an hour or so, I'll get on Skype.
I just have to do a few things first.

I wonder if Skype allows conference calls? It'd be fun to get a UFG thing going.
