Kinetic Dream Rae x Rae Kinetic Dream Dear Stream, We got your games. Kaiser immensely enjoyed WLB, and is currently considering framing the Banana card. We spent a good twenty minutes just laughing at the rules, and the cards in the second deck. Needless to say, we're going to get a lot of mileage out of these in the near future. Thanks a lot, Kin and Kaiser .... stare Notice at all that you have yet to thank me for my gift or sending stuff to you? neutral I did thank you. Just because you got frustrated in Item World because you were unprepared, doesn't mean you're allowed to forget. .... YOU SENT ME THERE UNPREPARED. ... Hobag.

Thanks a lot, Kin and Kaiser I KNEW the two of you would love those. Especially WLB, and the sheer WTFery of it. I'm glad to know you'll be playing both... especially We Didn't Playtest This At All... (my favorite card is probably the Spite cards, btw... for obvious reasons). Oh, and since I have the whole shebang set up and regular online access readily available for it, any of you with Xbox live account should know that my gamertag is Streamjumper. Maybe we could get together some AG and friends only games of TF2 and whatnot.

Y'know, I really don't like doing things I know are likely to start fights, and at minimum are probably going to cause some tension with a friend for a while.
I just got my security deposit back from my old apartment and I didn't agree with getting charged for a lot of the things listed under damages. I wouldn't make so big of an issue out of some of the minor things ($12 to clean the carpet when it was as clean or cleaner than when I moved into the room, $2 for a spatula that got destroyed while I was there (that I really don't think I did, since I know better than to stick *plastic* utensils into a *dishwasher,* while said roommate did it most of the time), a couple placemats that apparently got scuffed when I moved out, in the most blatant of a couple "really, you're charging me for that" things on there), but there's a couple things on there that I really don't agree with getting charged with.
For one, my roommate (who I was subleasing from, since I don't see that mentioned anywhere above, and is kinda important from here on out) had a daybed in the living room that functioned as the primary couch. I would study out there on it sometimes, and got some pen/highlighter marks on it. I'm getting charged $25 to replace it, which I don't think is (a) necessary or (b) fair to do without giving me a chance to fix it with some cleaner stuff I have.
But the big one relates to cleaning the kitchen. In May, when school ended, my roommate's mother came out to visit her They did a really big cleanup of the kitchen, including the counters, reorganizing whose food is where, and so forth. They did a nice job of it, but this was still two-and-a-half months before my lease ended. Yes, I didn't use the kitchen after that, because I was staying at home over summer, but I still don't believe I should have to pay $50 for a roommate and her mother cleaning the kitchen on their own initiative while I still had months of legal right to use it. Especially since, knowing how the move-out did go with cleaning my room, it would have been cleaned to that extent anyways, and I wouldn't have charged her a cent for it.
And, on top of that, there's $50 listed as half of the kitchen cleaning supplies. As nice of a job as they did, I really doubt they did $100 worth of supplies used nice. Either they bought much more than was needed, really overpaid, or mixed in a few other things (like food or the bar stools her mother also bought for the apartment). And with any of those, I shouldn't have to pay so much.
Blah, this is just me venting because I don't like starting actual arguments like this. I will, as I've already sent an e-mail outlining these and other complaints, but it's just not pleasant getting into something I know is going to end in an argument.

Yeah I remember from moving you out of that place you shouldn't be charged all those fees. We did a damn good job of cleaning up after ourselves and those charges seem bogus. FIGHT THE MAN!

You know, being a moderator for Crispin Freeman's fansite, I've seen a lot of weird messages. Some pretty normal ("OMG! Geneon's gone. What about Hellsing!?!?" Or "Crispin, you're so hot! I love your sexy voice!")...
But a most recent post really has me thrown for a loop. Some fansite member has asked him if he wants to be a chaperone for a Risembool Ranger (and other anime fans) trip to Japan.
gonk gonk

I've got less than two weeks left now and am in mini-panic mode. I haven't started packing yet because I'm not replacing my now-oversized clothes until Saturday, but I need to mail some stuff by Wednesday if I want it there when I get there, and I'm still waiting to find out if anyone can meet me at the airport and I'm about to move over 2,000 miles away gonk
I also was a day late in scheduling my roadtest. When I called before, they had JUST started booking the day that I leave. I've been trying to catch a cancellation but no luck... guess I'll just renew my permit. Not like I'll be driving in Canada anyway.

Jeez, it's not like escorting a few kids around Japan would be grossly unfair to the hundreds of requests that people make to see him if even for a fleeting moment. Not to mention liability issues...*sigh* DUMB PEOPLE ARE DUMB.

And what makes it REALLY dumb is that for the past few weeks we've been constantly posting about how Crispin can't do personal favors for people. I mean, do we NEED to send ninjas after these morons to get them to stop?

So Mazinger 20 gets released. 21 aired on Saturday and should be popping up sooner or later and promises to be awesome. I find out that The Protomen have a new single out. I find out that The Protomen may have a new album coming out. I don't have to work at the store until Friday.
And it's just Monday.
This will be an excellent week.
