Strange dream involving me and Stream drinking beer. He commented how it tasted smokey because of the trees in the area.

And yeah, met Zelo once, (twice if you count the time I met fake Nick but that's a long story. ninja ) and I saw him at a restaurant. I can only imagine what Lanzer must have thought sitting across from him at that table.
My guess: "Mmm... he'd look pretty dressed as a loli. wink "

So, one of my clients finally did something really cool. I walked over to her at work last night, and she was watching a movie. When I came in, there was a funeral scene on, so I couldn't tell what movie it was, and then she told me.
The Watchmen.
My mouth dropped and I started laughing. I told her it was awesome. She said "I've got to keep up with the classics." I laughed again and asked if she read the original. And guess what. She HAD!
Now, you guys must be wondering why this is so cool. Ever since i started working in the human services field, I could count the number of clients I've worked with who shared an interest with me on one hand. And that was usually about musical tastes. There has never been another client who was into video games, anime, comics/graphic novels/manga.
So this was just cool for me.

Birthday yesterday was fun, even though I didn't do much. I've spent most of today going through my old iPod to make a list of what was on there, then trying to decide which albums and songs get moved to the new one.
I went to a nickel arcade that I haven't been to in a long time. It's looking...a lot more run down than it used to. The free games along the wall barely work, when they work at all, and there really aren't any new arcade games. I wonder if they're just letting the arcade go until it's no longer making a profit, without doing anything more than basic maintenance on some of the machines.

Kinda want the koi item. There's a pose on there I love. Currently out of the price range of what I should spend though, gold-wise. I'd pay the measly $2.50 but I'm half-broke, headed to Connecticon, and waiting on someone to pay me back $50. Kinda accepting that every dollar actually does count gonk Thanks Shouj! heart

Kin and I were talking last night about how I haven't been myself and have been spazzy/emo/off since January, which is when the last blow-up was with the guy I had a semi-lengthy on and off affair with and swore was the love of my life.
I sent him a message last night (I haven't spoken TO him in like seven months) just saying I'm sorry how things turned out, don't regret meeting him, do honestly hope he ends up happy no matter what, and will always consider him one of my best friends. He sent back a reply saying he understands, feels the same way, and that he is happy.
I thought it'd make me feel worse but it actually feels nice to have closure instead of getting caught in that terrible trap of "Okay, let's try again - maybe this time we can be together!" that we kept up with, or leaving it with all the bitter stuff that was said. whee Not that I haven't had some awesome things happen this year that felt nice, but I really have been a wreck since then and that's a looooooong time to be a mess. So... fix'd?
