And I just got my first scam in ages.
rofl Somehow it seems even worse than the previous ones.
I wish I could be mean to them, I have all these great ideas but I just don't see them as being worth the trouble of typing them out
sad It's been a long time since I've gotten one on any of my accounts, and I'm always tempted to send some kind of witty and scathing and sarcastic response...but I always just report and ignore it.
xd Sometimes I hate being a responsible adult.
Oh, but I did get a real scam in my email. One of those scams where they try to get me to send them money. I mean, seriously, when some strange person sends you an email that basically says "I had this rich client who died and has no relatives. You have the same last name as him (big whoop. My last name isn't that uncommon. I even have the same last name as a famous musician
rolleyes ), so why don't you claim the money, and we'll split it 50/50.
Oh, and no one else knows about this, so keep it between just the two of us..."
I mean, the whole thing sounded fishy to me, but honestly, saying that it's "just between us" sent my sketchy radar into overdrive.
