I'm going to see the Evangelion movie on Friday. I expect good things.
Also, on an rpg related note: if you like roleplaying games and haven't bought Anima: Beyond Fantasy, do so.
edit: I can't believe that Billy Mayes is dead. crying

Psy. Welcome to the roaring twenties. You'll be expected to cause as much trouble as possible while avoiding arrest.
The clock begins now. You have ten years.
On the other side of things, what the s**t, life?
1. My GM at the gym (he he) came back from vacation this week. I said goodbye to him as I was leaving yesterday and he grunted at me, giving me this, "I'm going to fire you as soon as I can" stare that he gives me all the time. Vacation doesn't do s**t for this guy.
2. My car sputtered home. And by sputtered I mean stalled five times in the three-quarter mile trip. The car is almost a year older than Psy so, this was pretty much the final straw. Could I fix it? Probably, but it's time for something different, I've been driving it for eight years next Monday.
3. Cue car shopping montage. I've never bought a car from a lot before. It was a pain in the arse, but we managed to find a good car at a decent price. Getting it checked out now to see exactly what kind of shape it's in, but as far as I can tell s**t's gold.
4. Reference previous statements about the Forth.
It's been a pretty shitty week, and it's only Tuesday.
And then I get a call from my boss at the gym, not the GM, the other guy. I'm wondering if the GM got to him and said to fire my a**, simply because he doesn't like me.
"We want you to work full time."
"...Hu-buh?"
"Eight to Four, Monday through Friday, and helping out on the weekends when no one's able to come in."
"...Hu-what?"
"Benefits."
Needless to say I'm sold. I'd be doing the same things I've been doing for the past year, just for three more hours a day and two more days a week, at hours which don't even recognize the time of five a.m. Considering I haven't had my yearly review yet, I can probably squeeze a bit more out of them under the idea of 'added responsibilities' for my hourly pay.
Plus ******** yeah, benefits.
