Chrysant Oh, yeah, and while I remember. I graduated. Wheeee. Finalised grades are released 25th, but I'm not expecting anything spectacular; slacked hardcore style. Yay!

So, I had a dream last night, I figure some of you will get more of a kick out of this than others.
Back in the day, my dad used to answer telephone calls with, "Shaw's Emporium of Good Times, how may I direct your call?" It rubbed off on me a little bit, but I eventually forgot about it.
Until it showed up in my dream last night.
And by 'showed up in my dream', I mean I walked into a huge kind of 'catch-all' building and saw 'Shaw's Emporium of Good Times' in big bold letters over the entrance. I think, subconsciously, continuously staring that Stream's link to 'The Sultan' inspired this dream, considering the fact that there were at least four separate game rooms set aside with one inside. Along with several lower end tables. And there was a restaurant. And a full service bar. And billiards tables. And lots of sports screens. And a bakery. And shelves of books and comic books.
And a bowling alley.
It was probably one of the single strangest dreams I've had in a while. and I really really want to see something come of it now because, frankly, it kicked enormous amounts of a**.

Streamjumper That sounds like an epic establishment, yo. But it shouldn't have existed! There's no way that you could reasonably fit all of that into a building of any size and still expect to pull it off! But it smelled really really good. And somehow high class.

So, my landlord just left a copy of my rental agreement in an envelope with my name on it. I opened it up, and he's added clauses to it in pen. I'm really tempted to put him in the hospital.

Separate monthly fee for utilities and that at the end of my lease it renews itself with a rent hike. He's tried to charge me illegal stuff before that I've refused, and the evidence that he charged me twice what's legal (found this out afterwards) for a deposit is on that same agreement. He's a real p***k. The funniest part about his attempt at extending my lease is that I already have plans to leave when that "extension" would have been up anyway.
Like I said, the clauses were added to the copy I signed back in 2007, so there's no way he's getting away with this little extortion scheme of his. I'd just enjoy putting his head through a wall for thinking he could pull it off.

We had to deal with a lot of that sort of stuff from our landlord before we finally moved out. I think she did it just because she didn't like us much.

Oh, and I found a GREAT job opportunity. The pay is WAY better than what I make now, and it's in the field I'm looking to expand into. The problem...it's down in Connecticut, east of Hartford, but it would take me at least a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to drive there (one way, not round trip). And with the problems my car has been having, I'm a little nervous about commuting that distance every day.
But I REALLY want to apply for it... crying

I haven't had a dream about any AGers trying to kill me.
But I did have a dream once where Spider was skinned alive and then WORN by something trying to kill me in a church, after raping me gonk
Most horrible. Effing. Nightmare I have EVER had.
Also, apply for now and see about your car in the meantime? It can never hurt to TRY right?
