Streamjumper Kinetic Dream Original Getter is getting subs. I've been waiting for this day. crying Ms. Karen Starr Cocaine is not the answer. It is, however, a hell of a drug. In my vast amounts of lurking, this just called for a response:

ERA718 In my vast amounts of lurking, this just called for a response: You, there. Yes, you standing there being skull ******** by a rodent. Find some menial task to perform in lieu of myself because of my condition of being above such things to do. Oh yes. You will be taking a s**t for me today, I waste so much valuable Borg killing time on the toilet.
*Shoots with bowel disruptor.*
Better get that salute in before the stomach cramps hit, ensign.

Who the surgical incision ******** Christ are you, and whose grandmother sewed you that uniform? You are not my doctor. My doctor has inhumanly perky nipples and a distinct lack of fur when she bothers to shave.

emo I figured, but we're only allowed to use the computers at work for serious stuff. Even on breaks. I miss the job that let me go on Gaia, play KoL, and discuss "worst dressed" slideshows with my boss.
Now, can anyone recommend me comics? surprised I've read Transmetropolitan, Sandman, and Kill Your Boyfriend. Currently I am reading The Invisibles, Fables, and The Invincible Iron Man (the new one). I will be reading Jack of Fables, Promethea, and the portion of Tales of Suspense after Iron Man's appearance. The thing is I like almost anything. I have the most varied tastes of anyone I've ever known. I'm quite partial toward things with a creepy edge especially and I also love fantasy, but I will take sci-fi, romance, superhero, realism... anything.

I enjoyed Y: The Last Man a lot. I'd recommend giving the first volume or two a shot and seeing how well you enjoy it.
Other than that, I rediscovered Maus when I was cleaning my room the other day. It's a really great story and comic, but being a biographical account of the Holocaust, it's depressing as hell. The choice to present it as a comic, and to show all the different kinds of people as different animals were very interesting choices in how the story changed from how it would have been to just tell it in words.

After this year's Free Comic Book day I've been trying to get my hands on the first volume of the hilariously funny Atomic Robo, written by Connecticon's own regular guest Brian Clevenger (of 8-Bit Theater fame). Any short comic story titled "Why Robo hates Doctor Dinosaur" is formula for win, and the hilarious fight did not fail the title's expectations.

Maus is another one I read. For class, actually.
Y: The Last Man keeps coming up a lot. Maybe I'll check that out. Another one I've been told I should look into is Animal Man, because I said I'm iffy on Grant Morrison.
