gonk I think I'm dyin' For like, a week and a half I've been having that trouble eating that I mentioned earlier. Now, for around a week, I've been getting physically ill from my one meal a day, no matter what I eat. I've got all these symptoms and finally called my doctor's office - I guess it's a regulation now that if you tell them you're in pain, they have to see you, so I've got an emergency appointment double-booked for tomorrow.
I'm being told it could be anything from pregnancy to needing my gallbladder removed to an ulcer. Because the specificness there really eases my worries. Anywho, I'm thinking it's probably going to be fine and just a one visit thing that hopefully comes with medication, but if I do end up requiring a hospital stay or surgery (if it's my gallbladder, I'm going to kill something. I did not enjoy my first time being cut open), I'll ask Kin or Spider to pop in for me.
@Luna: Aren't those always fun?

Glad it arrived on time and pretty well done surprisingly. whee heart *hugs Rae* D: pics? surprised I have a pic of the costume, but not me in it. However, there will be pics of me at the con in the costume. So, you'll get your pics Phoe. xp There was another costume I really wanted to get, but it wouldn't arrive on time... I'll probably wait for next year to get that costume.

Kinetic Dream I TOLD YOU!Why don't you ever listen to me? scream You didn't even take my advice about 'self-treatment'. Shaaaaaaaaaame. By the time I could get to a store, I wanted nothing more than to curl up and cry. Which I promptly did.
I'll pick up the stuff today though. I have to buy food for work lunches next week anyway, assuming all is well. I also don't listen to you because you're a bimple. So there.

*rolls around* They think it might be my gallbladder. I was forced to have blood taken (ow ;~; ) and they made me take a pregnancy test just in case, but I've got an ultrasound scheduled for June 18th. If it's that, I'll probably need surgery D:
And my teacher got back to me! She said that the final paper got an A- because it was an original topic with creatively incorporated texts. I've never gotten anything in the A-range from her before. I r 'xcited.
Though my doctor's been hounding me to lose weight for two years and I kept telling her I was trying. Today we discovered I'd lost nearly 30 pounds. My reaction was to be very proud and excited because I've been working hard. Her reaction was to look at me very seriously and ask if I had anorexia.

I hope that it's not serious surgery/expensive. Well, I really hope you don't need surgery, but failing that... Hooray! So does this mean that your grade has changed? Just don't win, I guess. As long as you're still eating and exercising and all the stuff that helped you lose weight, I don't think your doctor should be that concerned. Unless it's some other medical problem, but that's something I can't really predict.

Zelyhon Ugh. Surgery. Yeah. If it's my gallbladder, the surgery is REALLY minor unless there's an issue. When my mom had hers scheduled, she had food one night that made it flare up and she needed emergency surgery, which is MUCH more serious than the regular procedure.
Yes, my grade is all fixed up now! I was excited about that, and about the compliment.
She hadn't seen me in months and months. The weight loss shouldn't be that surprising. It just irked me that her first thought was "Oh god, she has an eating disorder!" I figured she'd be happy that I finally managed to slim down. Not to mention, if I'm coming in because I'm worried about loss of appetite and not being able to keep down food, does that really scream eating disorder? D:

Btw, if anyone has the picture we should put it up in the thread. ^_^ Years of trying to lose weight with no success to 30 lbs loss. Asking if there's a problem seems not only reasonable, but responsible for a physician. The question doesn't necessarily mean that they have a strong suspicion, just that they're voicing a concern. Given that she's also having other problems, it makes a bit more sense to ask, really. Congrats on the loss and the great grade, Rae!
