Dr. Fomite Rae x Rae I have been curled up in a ball crying all morning. D: D: D:
*huuuug* heart Who/what do we need to destroy/maim/amputate/kill/devour? No one. And it's not really something I want to talk about like, in AG right now (not as in not with the people, but just posting on a forum feels really sucky.)

Rae, feel better soon.
So, when does my goddamn weekend begin? I mean, I got out of work at 5 Friday, but had to immediately head down to my dad's so we could bring him some medication for his dog's Lyme Disease that he couldn't pick up because he was watching the boys. On the way down, Luna's car lurched with a snapping sound and the suspension felt a little weird, but other than that there wasn't much of an apparent problem. On the way back, however, there was a lot more shakin' goin' on, and not in a rockakbilly sense.
This morning, Luna drags me out of bed fairly early so we could head to Town Fair Tires to get them to rotate the tires, re-align, and take a peek at things. Turns out that when the ******** at Pep Boys dis some work on her car in November 07 (replacing the sway bar and struts, tightening things up, etc), they didn't properly realign the rear passenger wheel, which proceeded to cause the tire to wear funny. It also put undue stress on the rod, eventually stripping its threads and snapping one end clean off the mount. This caused the wheel to cant at a funny and unsafe angle. The guy looking at it told us that he was surprised we made it there safely.
So they suggest a place that will do this work, since a quick call to Pep Boys shows that since they only warranty things for a year, they're not responsible for the mess they caused (we'll see if the BBB thinks otherwise)... so we get it towed there.
At Spartan, they take a look at things and explain that they can make the car usable for a while as long as we keep the driving to necessary trips. This will give us the time to get our finances in order and for them to get the part needed in. It'll run $285 (in addition to the 59$ for getting the rod welded together for the short term) and we can call them anytime for an appointment.
Then Luna dragged my a** off to go grocery shopping with ******** tired.

Already am, just a little. Made a phonecall and said what I needed to. Asked the person to consider what I'd said and to call me later tonight. Still feeling down. Having some trouble eating, and even drinking stuff. Kinda a little sick. But it's kind of just my physical way of manifesting stress now, so that I'm not as emotionally destroyed even if I'm upset no matter what.
And now I've been stuck in my papers for hours. Grr. I'm doing relatively well on my Victorian literature one though...

I'm glad you're feeling better, even if only a bit. I hope whatever issue it is works out for the best. *snug*

Streamjumper So, when does my goddamn weekend begin? ... Then Luna dragged my a** off to go grocery shopping with ******** tired. Oh, sure, he has one morning where he has to get up early and help me with stuff. And I should point out that I picked up the medicine for his dad's dog. He just went along for the ride down to his dad's. And got pizza out of the deal... rofl I'm up early EVERY weekend to do laundry and grocery shopping all by myself. Hon, shall I play the little violin for you? xd
