All in all, good. xd

whee I told Luna but I never got to bounce around here about it. I got a job at an insurance company. Not full-time, but it's 37.5 hours a week so it's close! This makes me excited. Not only can I actually save up some money, but this means I can afford the convention this summer, since I wouldn't have had enough otherwise and wouldn't have been comfortable asking mom since it's not really a necessity (... and mom would probably tell me "Well you should've been more responsible and saved money and blahblahblah D<" ;-; Which is not fun. At all.). I was worried I wouldn't be able to go for awhile.
Now I just need to buy "professional" clothes. I'll get to look all classy and grow'd up! surprised

Haha, you reminded me of when I first got a job I went out and bought like... four pairs of black pants. Lmfao, I then realized I looked silly in pinstriped pants at Wendy's.
[edit] Congrats on the job biggrin and welcome to the world of semi-full time employment [/edit]

Kimishibai [edit] Congrats on the job biggrin and welcome to the world of semi-full time employment [/edit] Well, I've done 35 hours a week before, but the woman I worked for... ugh. She did not have enough work to need a secretary. And therefore constantly said "Well, I'll give you the rest of the day off!" despite the fact that I took the job because I needed hours in order to make money. mad She was just annoying.
Thanks for the congratulations! I'm really excited. I think they'll love me though. I'm friendly, professional, and efficient. Not to mention I have a disgustingly odd love of filing and alphabetizing. They will never be able to bore me.

Hello my lovely AGers. Alas, I have abandoned you yet again. I have come to alert any Fanime-goers that I am purging my anime collection at the swap meet on Thursday. See Listings HereIf you are interested in any of these DVDs/collections please let me know I would be happy to sell them to you. (Translation: FFG is far below his desired budget yet again this year and hopes to turn a quick buck the night before Fanime starts, lol) Anyways, hope you all are doing well. I'm getting ready for grad school and the like. Very stressful...and I have a mad case of senioritis. *sigh*

I might be interested in GitS or both of them. I'm definitely interested in Mushishi.

Zelyhon You're welcome? XD I'm glad about the job thing. Congrats! Thanks double-time! surprised Now we just need to get you a special forces uniform. It will be pink.
Since there's talk of Fanime too, I feel the need to mention that next summer, if I go to SFU, Rosa and I were talking about making the trip down together for it and sharing a room, since we'd both be coming from the same place and she thinks her parents would be more willing to let her go under the circumstances of having a friend and an excuse. I ran this by Spider and he said it could be fun, so if it all happens, I might drag him down with me. So... maybe we'll see you guys next year!
I'm kinda thinking of trying to tackle the cosplay I've always wanted to do, because I'm hoping by then to have lost a good 70-90 pounds and will finally feel comfortable doing it.
Hope you all have fun though. The only con I'll be going to is the one with Stream and Luna due to the need to save money away and spend the summer working.
@FFG: I wish I could buy some, but I'm not in the shiniest financial position ): I hope you make the money you need! I need to watch Mushishi sometime. I think that's the one Ed really liked.

I think that's the one Ed really liked.Do you really think I'd wear a uniform that was only *one* color, no matter what that color was? What with that Fanime being over a year away, I can't guarantee anything, but I may have space for people to crash. Don't count on it at the moment, but let me know when you've got more details later and I can try to work something out with the parents. And Mushishi's the series pretty much everyone (who doesn't mind a slow, contemplative anime) really liked. It's a great show that you should check out.
