Delicious Ruby is delicious...
Yes. Yes she most certainly is. Most of the other redesigns are okay, but Ruby's is definitely the most win.

Although, just to be bitter and complain-y about everything, there's still no Merideth artwork pretty much anywhere.

Life certainly would be more interesting if random musical dance numbers popped up in public places.

Me, I want to do the Time Warp at the local mall... xd

So I started reading Neil Strauss' The Game. My view on the pickup artist lifestyle, as well as my understanding of pickup artists themselves, has been completely shattered since yesterday.

Well, with something like that, I'd imagine it would be easier, since everyone knows the steps, and even if they don't, the song tells them. Just organize a few people to start, find some way to change what's on the speakers, and away you go! XD

I remember once upon a time, when a company would announce a street date for a game, and that meant that the game was available ON THAT DAY. To wit, Super Robot Taisen: OG Saga - Endless Frontier was set as streeting on Tuesday, April 28th as of a week ago. On the 28th, a call to Gamestop showed that the game was not in, but the computer specifically said it would be there the next day. On the 29th it said that it was shipped that day and would be there on the 30th. Today, the 30th, the store checked the shipment and declared that it was indeed in none of the boxes and the computer contained no information whatsoever.

And as I walked out of the store, Gamestop's automated phone service called my cell phone to inform me that it would be in on the 1st.

Most industries would suffer horribly if they too engaged in the constant inability to meet an announced deadline on a basis consistent enough to more or less set an industry standard. If you could bottle this type of moxie, you'd make millions.

For those of you wondering what I'm talking about... New SRW OG setting with traditional RPG play as opposed to turn-based strategy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey6EJKVMlJ4 And the usual assortment of awesome characters.

I hate it when games (or books, or pretty much anything, really) do that. I've pretty much just taken to throwing "-Ish" on the end of any release date, because nothing really ever seems to come out when it's supposed to. I'm desperately hoping that BlazBlue, the game I'm most looking forward to playing once school gets out, doesn't get similarly delayed with no good reason.

That trailer looks pretty cool, though I couldn't figure out why KOS-MOS was in there when it was an OG game.

My story's the same ): I went out on Wednesday, figuring there would still be copies from the Tuesday release. So when I found out it wasn't there, just out of morbid curiosity to see WHEN it would arrive, I agreed to prepay.

I got my call at eight yesterday evening. As in right before I was turning in to get up at ungodly o'clock today.

...sup guys. Haven't seen you in a while. Sorry to be so panicky, but...

OKAY SO I HAVE A BIT OF A PROBLEM.

I just got some GC, right? I was trying to buy a Lyndexer's Journal (because I actually decided to get off my a** and read Watchmen and now I'm a total Inkblotfag, plus the journal looks cool), and apparently I ended up sending it to Pi instead of me.

OOPS.

So, uh...yeah. What do I do? Should I just buy another journal? Or what? It's not her fault (aside from being alphabetically first on my flist), it's mine - but ouch at $7.50. (Well, if I had to lose it, it couldn't have gone to a better person. But still.)

I'm pretty sure it's a common enough mistake that they'd probably reverse it. If not, well you tried. :p

First off I'd suggest just PMing her and explaining it. I'm pretty sure she'd understand and send it back. The fact that the damn retarded cash shop occasionally defaults its radio button to gifting stuff you want for yourself isn't entirely unknown, and Pi's cool enough that I'd expect her to understand totally.

That was going to be my suggestion too. Unless you have some reason for not wanting to PM Pi, I imagine a quick PM would sort it all out with minimum fuss and a lot faster than waiting for it to go through the process of getting someone with power to sort it out.

AS YOU CAN SEE FROM MY AVATAR: CRISIS AVERTED.

It was REALLY weird, though. I think the confirmation message said I'd sent it to Pi, but as I was rifling through my inventory, there it was. I wasn't expecting it, either. gonk

It must have bugged out or something, you know?
