Conner watched the mutant take off with Rogue's fire dragon close behind. Not wanting to be left out Conner gathered his focus, crouched down then jumped after the air mutant. He kept climbing straight up, for the moment it was as if gravity didn't exist for Conner.
Conner shielded his face as he passed by the dragon, the heat and fire singed his clothes and body hair and hurt his burnt arm. He was quickly within reach of his target and he grabbed a hold of the mutant's ankle. He powered down and allowed gravity to take hold of him. Now the mutant had the extra weight of Conner to deal with.

Meanwhile, Meira continued to enjoy the show. Now that the smoke had mostly cleared, she was breathing more easily, and had a better view from where she leaned nonchalantly against a building across the street. The whole spectacle was really quite the show. Still, she had her misgivings about just walking up and asking what was going on and why. Especially with the arrival of a number of military types in black uniforms. The whole thing struk her as similar to the attacks she was always hearing about back home.
She checked her watch, and decided she'd spent enough time standing around; her host family might get worried if she was out for too long. She started walking, retracing her earlier route.

Sarah stood blinking in the mansions library. Almost exactly where she had been left off. "Okay..." She said slowly looking around. It was quite quiet here so she walked slowly towards the parlor trying to sort this whole incident out in her head. Once in the parlor she sat down and almost mechanicly turned the TV on and just started to flip channles.

No sooner had the thought of going home crossed her mind then the three were sucked to the Exile base via portal, congratulated on their efforts by Blink and then shoved through yet another portal. When Victoria tumbled out on the other side she was both amazed and relieved to find that she had been dropped off in the exact same spot Blink had kidnapped her from less then an hour ago. Of course, even in that short amount of time, the surrounding area changed drastically.
For one, the pole holding the payphone upright had melted about half-way up, causing the structure as a whole to lean at a 42 degree angle. Nearby trees were either burnt to a crisp or still smouldering, and the same could be said for a few of the buildings in the area as well as any remaining cars.
As if to prove a point, a single ashen hubcap rolled her way, but she simply looked at it and shrugged. From the looks of it, the pyromaniac had his fun, but the situation was now under control. The rest of the X-Men had taken care of it no doubt, or perhaps the strange military-like personal had something to do with it, but either way, she decided against sticking around. Mind absolutely set on doing something more low-key, Victoria turned and shuffled away from the payphone and toward the mode of transportation she had arrived in.

Tonio knocked on the giant wooden doors of the mansion, waiting for a reply. When none came, he slowly pushed them open with one hand, the other carrying his bag. "Hello?" he called out, but heard nothing but silence. Figures, he thought to himself...somethings never change. Letting himself in, he walked through the halls, glancing in the rooms but seeing no one home. Deciding to head up to his room, he passed the parlor and saw a girl inside watching TV with a blank stare, obviously thinking of something else. Startled he gave a little jump, and then decided to walk in.
"Hi there, sorry to bother you, but I just got here...my name's Tonio."
(It seemed like the best way of introducing myself, sorry if i'm interupting the plot.)

While he was still only halfway down the fire escape from the rooftop Albel had brought him to, Tobias watched the strange pseudo-military's arrival. He spat in mild disgust; just like the mundane government to make a Black Ops division to deal with Homo superior. They were the freakin' SS all over again, judging by the uniforms. The sizzle of molten steel splattering by his feet shook Tobias out of his reverie; he'd unconsciously melted several inches of the handrail. He hurriedly finishes his descent and checks the time. Still three hours until he had to be at work. Tobias shrugged and began wandering away from the mall; he'd find something to occupy himself until then.

Sarah was in sweet oblivion when Tonio passed by and then stoped to introduce himself. She was so oblivious that it took her almost half a minute to register the fact that she was no longer alone. She blinked suddenly jumping as her eys snapped back into focus. "Huh?? WhaT?" She focused on Tonio. "Oh.." She blinked at him. "Sorry, didn't hear ya'll come in. Howdy, ma names Sarah, nice to meey ya."

{I won't post as Morgan for now, so as not to interrupt X-23's little plan. Yet.}
"Uh-oh," David said, as the dragon took off, and followed him into the atmosphere. He was really starting to feel the heat, and he was sure the edges of his pants had been singed. Plus, he couldn't risk using his powers to (literally) blow away the dragon, 'cause that would either A) not work, or B) spread the flames over half of the city. And as much as he'd enjoyed setting things on fire, those things weren't people, nor did they contain people. In fact, he'd been careful to avoid people. He had been out to scare 'em, not kill 'em.
So, neither option was a good one. He was busy contemplating a secondary escape route when he noticed the black-uniformed men storm the roof. At first, it looked like they were carrying weapons, but when they pulled the triggers, it was merely fire extinguisher foam that sprayed out. The nozzles were aimed high, spewing the white liquid towards the fiery beast above.

Rogue was just about to have her pet put the squeeze on the aero-kenetic, when a whole bunch of police looking people stormed the roof. She wasn't quite sure who they were, or why they were there, but any sort of help was welcome. But then they pulled out guns, or at least things that looked like guns. She was jsut about to tell her friend to hit the deck, when they fired and there was more of a foosh than a BOOM! She turned to see what was coming at them and saw that not only was it foam, but it also wasn't headed for them. It was headed for the dragon.
"NO!!!" she yelled, but it was too late. The foam impacted with the creature before she could get it out of the way, and destroyed it.

The Professor, wanting to enjoy the fresh Spring air for a change, had just left his study and was moving silently down the hallway when he heard something out of the ordinary. Though he could not be sure at first, it sounded like someone in the vicinity was sobbing uncontrollably. He paused in the hope of catching it again, and sure enough, he was able to track the sound as coming from his study. Doubling back, his concern for the well-being of the troubled one worsed as he tried to get a mental reading only to find their mind to convoluted to read. Despite this set-back, upon reaching the door to his study he opened it and entered without a word.
((And about about your last X-23 post, yeah, that is god-modding meaning I would prefer it be changed somehow, but Rahziel, also gets a say in it, seeing as Johnathan is his character.))

{Indeed. But if Razheil is fine with it, seeing as it's his character, we are too.}
"Hey, thanks!" David exclaimed, as the newcomers put out the flame dragon. Of course, his exuberance was shortlived, as he soon found himself tethered by the legs (in addition to the young man who had clamped onto one of them), and being dragged back down to earth. "Lemme go! Let go!!" he shouted, beginning to panic. Now, here he was surrounded by dozens of large, armed men, his legs were tied, and one of the black-suited ones was advancing on him.
David could feel an uncontrollable fear welling up in him. This situation brought him right back to where he'd been weeks earlier, before Mystique had extended the invitation to him. He could smell the moisture in that alley, feel the rough stone as one of the gang who had attacked him hurled him to the ground, and the instinctive terror as the group closed in.
"No. No, not again. Don't touch me, don't touch me, DON'T TOUCH ME!!" he shouted, raising his arms, and blowing the black-suited man (and anyone nearby) off his feet with a powerful gust of wind. He struggled with the cord around his legs, and finally managed to free himself. "Get away!! You won't hurt me again!!" he said, backing up against the edge of the roof, the panic evident in both his voice and his face.
Just as another blacksuit was upon him, David vaulted over the guardrail, and was off, flying away as fast as he possibly could.
{Edited! Sorry, McKinner, I forgot that Connor had leapt at David as well.}

Kidd smiled with delight and trotted over to the freak show tent, the most deserted of the tents, it the lack of people and crowded added to the air of terror at eyeing the misshapen people in side. She flashed her wrist band at the people at the door. A tall skinny carney, with long scraggly hair and a goatee nodded to them to head in. Kidd turned and giggled to Darius, "This is going to be so fun!."

(Black suited man? It's only wee ol' me mate.)
Conner lost his grip on the mutant as he began to panic and shout, it wasn't the wriggling but a powerful gust of wind that knocked him off. He twisted in midair to get his feet underneath him and rolled as he hit the mall roof to stop his legs breaking and fpund himself more or less in the same spot he'd left the roof, he could tell that quite easily from the small crater he'd caused by the over pressure that came with major gravity shifts. It was then, sat on the roof, he noticed he had landed in some sort of foam and he was surrounded by suits, Looks like the Feds have decided to get involved, he figured remembering an unpleasant experience he had when trying to enter the country.
He watched as the air mutant flew off and noticed that the Feds were watching too, he decided now was the best time to bolt. He stood up slowly and quietly walked over to Rogue.
"I think we'd better leave." He whispered. "The Feds look a little pissed off and I for one don't want to be the target of thier ire. He crept over to the edge of the roof he'd climbed up, by the fire escape, and sat down with his legs dangling over, he turned and offeref Rogue a hand. "Coming?"

"Right behind you!" Rogue exclaimed. She dashed over to the fire escape and gabbed ahold of the rungs as she swong herself over the edge.

X-23 heard the professor enter the study. She glanced up at him, and let him see her tears. Then she put her head back down and kept crying. He wasn't close enough, and she knew his compasion would draw him closer to such a troubled young lady.

Upon entering the study, the girl acknowledged him with nothing more then a tear filled gaze before lowering her head again and continuing to sob. His heart went out to this young lady, whoever she may be, and so the Professor kept a steady pace and wheeled closer. Despite being within arms reach of the girl, he was still unable to get a mental reading on her. Age, name, mutant ability, nothing...meaning the only way for his to comfort the girl was for her to open up to him, at her own pace, of course.
