I've never seen Dr. Who... and the only time I'd heard about it at all was when I read the "Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging" books. She made one reference to a Dalek. confused I'm a very British-entertainment deprived girly. The most I ever get is BBCAmerica and lots of Monty Python.

Haven't been around in a while...But here's an edit I made off a picture at lostfish.free.fr
A little small, but I think I got the pose...I feel bad for adding a neck, though, it seems a little out of place + it doesn't have the authentic Gaian look to it :<

Marked improvement, Kai!
You can still go a little more, even outline the sides where the light is the strongest. If you look at your avatar you'll notice the bold outline is all-encompassing.
Oh! And don't forget to shade on the skin!
