~Within the confines of Trenia Sekia, the Emperor, AKurei was seen leaving the palace. His Horsemen followed close behing as he made his way toward the northern gate. The people of the city all bowed in respect to their Lord as he passed them, clearing a path so that he may walk freely through the city. It was undetermined whether or not he was a just ruler, but one thing was for certain. If he was walking toward the northern Gate, his destination was the Tower of Truth in Ala'ana. His ideals meant more to himself than the lives of his army as he sent them to the very place that he himself would not set foot. More than anything, he was a man doomed to follow the same fate that he had dealt to his long time rival, Nicholas Remos. He was determined to change his fate, by any means necessary.~

Khastur rode on,-- he had been given the general direction of Reinsen's camp and was gunning for it; blowing his horn loudly to fill the empty land with thunderous sound. If he was spotted, they'd see a man in white armor on a white horse, the pair covered in blood. "Reinsen!!" Brandishing his blade and holding it aloft his horse continued down the path.

Sin rubbed his chest and felt the ribs and bones mended and smiled his thanks to Issildia. After a few moments he looked at her again and his face took a more serious facade.
"Issildia... If I go at full tilt I can catch up to him right as he makes it to the camp... I think... I'm not sure where it was but I saw their campfires on the way down and if Khastur saw them too then he'll be heading in that direction too... I can easily out run a horse... out paceing it is hard though..."
He looked in the direction of Reinsen's camp and then back to the castle they had just come from.
"but... there's something bad going on in that castle... Khastur is a threat, yes... but right now I think it's more important to get to the bottom of that"
Sin pointed a finger at the ominous castle off in the distance a ways.
"and even if we go after him it's most likely going to just make things worse.... I say we go right back in to that castle and keep looking..."

Issildia had only just returned with the horses following behind her when Sin spoke.
"There is no need to investigate Baledon Sukiyo any longer Sin." she replied flatly, "And I will not leave Khastur behind..." she said firmly.
"His thoughts are clouded by twisted ideals that are not of his own making...I will not leave him to be lead astray by such things..." Issildia stated with resolve. It was then that Kyrion interrupted, "Why do you think we should neglect any investigation of Baledon Sukiyo? We can not simply ignore what could be a threat."
"It is no threat...for the moment, we shall find no enemies there." Issildia replied before mounting the ash colored horse before tossing the lead rope of the roan to Sin.
Kyrion looked slightly perplexed at her reply, but did not attempt to challenge it. "So what do you intend to do?" he inquired as he crossed his arms.
"I won't allow Khastur to become a servant of my father..." she replied darkly as she glanced back at Kyrion.
"If you go...you will be walking straight to your death...your father will not hesitate to kill you...not to mention that Khastur would attempt to do the same...would you so readily give up your own life for him? Someone that does not even wish for your aid!" The azerian countered harshly.
"Without question." Issildia replied in a flat tone as she signaled her horse into a swift canter to leave the clearing and head towards the west. She had lost far to many comrades to allow one to fall willingly into her father's clutches.

(The Larovian Encampment)
"Send out a detachment of riders...bring him to me." Reinsen uttered lowly to a young valtera messenger who stood at attention behind him. The young valtera immediately bowed before his form changed into that of a red hawk that soared up over the enormous expanse of the camp only to descend back down towards the cavalry unit to deliver his message.
Reinsen watched with satisfaction as twelve cloaked riders departed from the camp at a full gallop towards the location of the turn coat.

Sin sighed and mounted up on his roan looking at Issildia for a moment before he headed after her on his own horse. "I don't truely agree with you Issildia but this is your choice...." ------------------------------------------ Grevious looked at Reinsen from where he stood, slightly behind him, and shook his head at the conquer.
'This is getting more and more chaotic as we speak... If Reinsen's not careful he's going to charge headlong into an abush when he attacks that city'

Issildia looked back at Sin and briefly slowed her pace for a moment, "No...it’s your choice Sin, it has always been your choice...if you believe otherwise you should commit to your beliefs...not mine." she stated in a stoic manner before she turned back to signal her horse into a gallop.
Kyrion watched them as they departed with an unreadable expression, the path they now tread would grant neither himself or his people aid or information...he had no choice but to continue on another path and silently hope that perhaps Sin and Issildia would survive to cross paths with him once again. At this he leapt into the air, wings fanning out to head towards the east, the distance between himself and the others quickly widening until the azerian disappeared into the horizon.

"Issildia, My choice has always been to follow you, My OPINION was that the castle was a bigger threat then Khastur.... and since we're heading into a exceptionally dangerous situation I won't start up on the choice's we make." Smiling he whipped his reigns and pushed the roan into a gallop following behind Issildia. From what he could tell another few moments of riding and they would be able to see Reinsen's camp. Suddenly Sin felt a bitter cold press into his skin like he had just passed thought a warm patch and into a cold one. Pulling back on his reigns his Roan reared back onto two legs, neighing at the sudden movement. "ISSILDIA STOP!" His horse put it's two front feet down on the ground again and footed the ground trying to calm itself. Looking towards Reinsen's camp he uttered one cryptic statement before closing his eyes. "They know we're here...." ------------------------------------------ Grevious' head suddenly shot up and he looked past the approaching rider and into the woods. He was suddenly hit with a wave of heat, almost like he stepped outdoors from a cold room on the hottest day of summer. Looking at Reinsen for a moment, to see if he noticed this sudden movement, he then looked back out into the forest again.
'Sin....'

Issildia looked back at him with and equally dark gaze, "I would expect nothing less...it is only a few miles until we come upon the encampment, my father or some of the more powerful of his subordinates will have sensed us."
Wheeling the horse around to face him, Issildia frowned slightly. "What is wrong..." she inquired, easily noticing the apparent fear and apprehension in his voice.

A group of riders caught Khastur on the planes mid-way to his camp "Lord Reinsen will grace you with an audience, follow us." Khastur kept his head low "I do not seek to talk with Reinsen...He has the power to unite the world true, but he knows not how to use this power...I have come to serve Reinsen...By taking his seat of power, and finishing what he started." The group drew swords as Khastur cleaved the head from the man before him and began to fight off the group, all the while shouting for Reinsen to hear.
"You have readied my chariot Reinsen, and I thank you! But I can see you cannot win this battle-- therefore I shall take your crown! I shall unite the world!" A large white bird flew overhead, streaked with blood as Khastur impaled another of the soldiers on his holy blade.
"I am Khastur, the godhand! Reinsen! I have come for you!!"

Sin sighed and looked directly at Issildia.
"Issildia... you know that I'm generally confidant in my own skills enough to be annoyingly cocky when faced with situations like this... but in Reinsen's camp is my brother... and I know for a fact that if we are to face him, Khastur, Reinsen AND his army that we won't survive... I have no fear of death... but I sure as hell don't want to throw my life away just because you don't want to let someone who's betrayed you fall into the hands of Reinsen.... That’s just stupid!"
Sin shook his head and looked past her in the direction of the camp calming down slightly and collecting his thoughts.
"You said to me when I chose to follow to Reinsen that that was my choice... and that I'm guessing you'd say that to any of your companions... but what about Khastur? Isn't this his choice? What right do you have to preach to me about choices, when you yourself are heading off to stop Khastur from making his own choice. I know that eventually he will need to be confronted, but now is not the right time... Issildia... doing this now will be playing right into your fathers hands. Even if we do this perfectly, more then one person will die tonight..."
Sin rode up to her and moved his horse so it was blocking her path.
"if we were to play this situation based on your actions then you can't hold it against me when I say.... 'your not going to that camp Issildia... I will stop you.'... If we play this situation based on your words... they you would agree with me that going after Khastur is not a priority."
He looked up right into her eyes with a seriousness that even surprised him.
"Your not going to that camp Issildia... I will stop you... even if I die doing so..."

"Admirable..." she remarked before taking on a far more serious expression. "But he could be killed...I can not simply stand by and watch...and if we turn back, what do you suppose is of enough importance to steal our attention away from this matter?"
Looking back to the east, Issildia's eyes became slightly downcast. "I know that it is a fool's errand Sin, but our list of allies and leads grows thin...fate now turns itself against us..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Khastur spoke the sky darkened over his location, clouding with rain laden clouds, creating a temporary night within the area. From the ground, tendrils of darkness spun forth as thunder rolled through the sky. Slowly the ink like manifestation of shadow rose up in a tumbling mass of darkness that immediately fell away revealing Reinsen's armored form. His dark blue eyes that shared the same hue as Issildia's centered in on Khastur, regarding him with little interest. When he spoke, his tone mimicked the one taken when addressing a subordinate.
"Nothing more than a child..." he remarked with distaste as he raised his left hand, signaling this warriors to cease the battle. The remaining eleven soldiers shrank back a few yards and sheathed their blades.
"So...a demon clothed in the garb of a holy man comes to challenge me for my title...how poetic." Reinsen said in cynical manner.
"Though I have a far more enticing proposition for you Khastur...if you would hear it, that is."
Tossing a freshly slain soldier to the side, Khastur slowly turned to Reinsen. As he did, beams of light began to break through the blackened sky, the sun slowly making it's way through-- called by Khastur's power. The air below became hot and windy, a white aura surging about Khastur.
"My blade is longer then my patience Reinsen, and your visage offends. A crow cannot sing sweetly, wherefore I know you cannot sway me. But speak eftly if this deal is so grand."
A slight smirk crossed Reinsen's lips as the light that swarmed down from above was suddenly choked out by the dark amassment of storm clouds. "Do not think me a trifle child...you come here believing that you are the divine hand of your deity...the embodiment of light all that is holy...but you still have much to learn and many years yet to live if you wish to take up the station of a savior...or at least a worthy opponent." he countered swiftly; a dark chill overcoming the area and Reinsen's own shadow rising up around him.
"But none the less...we can be of use to each other..." The larovian emperor uttered in an unreadable tone.
"If you wish for a chance to take your part in crafting this world to your design, then I can grant you a chance to do so. If I defeat Lord Takinowa of these lands...then I can promise you the means the end that you seek. Political power, land, soldiers to carry out your wishes...all to be granted to you Khastur...not to mention that I can deliver the Ryera to you if I so wished. You would finally have the chance to repay them for their acts against your former comrades, as well as for their dark work that has destroyed the balance between the realms of Life and Death. "
Lightening flickered above and Reinsen's gaze failed to waver,
"All you would be required to do...would be to remove those that stand in my way...Lord Takinowa and his forces...my daughter...the Ryera. Aid me in striking them down and I will grant you the power to challenge even the likes of my kingdom when this is over...You could truly be the hand of your god and craft this world to your will."
