((I've only really done basic taijustu, and even then i only started last year. but i know what you mean - most of my tactics have been gleaned from Bruce Lee films!!))
Tomorrow rolled as well, coming up on his boots and lifting himself up to his full height. He looked down at the man with mixed feelings - contempt for obvious reasons, but now with a dash of respect.
He presented his dislocated arm. The forearm hung down limply, something that should not be natural. Lowering the arm slowly till the skin was basically straight - the bones re-aligned - Tomorrow suddenly tensed his muscles. The forearm crunched back into place with surprising ease. It was like drawing a string taut - when the muscles in his arm contracted, the bones came together naturally, and the forearm popped back into place.
He eased the forearm back and forth, rubbing his elbow. "You're the first to do that...not even Maximos has done that."
The arm wasn't severly damaged, and although a normal human would feel pain from the relocation, John didn't feel any. But the joint was weak now - both of them knew it. And Tomorrow knew his enemy would exploit such a weakness.
"Sorry, but we still have much to do." John muttered, lifting his arms, his relocated arm first, the hand beckoning the other man forward. "C'mon."

(( Enter the Dragon... WUTTAH! ))
Had this individual been classified as an enemy, he would not have been given the time to do such things; he would have been slowly worn down until he had nothing left to fight with... but John Tomorrow was not the mission target, the objective was recon, and this man had stood in the way. The option was still open to classify this inhuman as a significant threat and respond appropriately.
The soldier advanced again with a shuffle-step that closely resembled the last advance; cold, systematic, precise, by the book.

Tomorrow ********** ((Sutiiven)) Tomorrow rolled his eyes. "I just told you my...ah forget it. Kids these days...Reaching into his pocket, he withdrew the coins he'd been digging out to pay for the binoculars. There were several, and he slipped them about in his fingers. He smiled over to his opponant - before tossing one up into his mouth, his teeth crunching down on the coin as if it were gum. He looked the boy up and down, chewing on his coin quietly. as he placed his free hand into his pocket. "You look like one of those quick-types..." John said with a grin, still crunching on the coin, feeling it fold and press together in his mouth. "...Lets see how quick."He suddenly stopped shifting the coins arouind in his hand, lifting his arm to show the boy the coins, his palm open. They looked fairly innocent enough - two Gaian gold coins. With the sudden flick of a wrist, John's index finger and thumb suddenly held one of the coins, his other fingers curled in to hold the other coin to his palm. His index finger drew back on his thumb, the coin's edge being pulled into his skin... ...Before Tomorrow flicked his finger forward. The coin erupted from his fingers, shooting through the air at such speeds to almost be unseeable. The gravel before them flew apart like Moses parting the seas as the coin disrupted the air around it, bearing straight towards Sutiiven... [1] The next thing heard was a loud noise of the coin hitting something hard and metallic, then two separate thuds a moment later as something bounced off the ground. The present Sutiiven stood there with his sword in front of him in a block. He gripped the back edge of it for support in what was but a simple block. He stood there with a smirk as he was unscathed. Anyone who looked behind him would notice the two halves of the coin behind him. "Fast enough for you?" he mocked confidently. Speed was Sutiiven's greatest ally, his agility was his stongest trait. True, his ability to withstand damage was lower due to his lack of armor, but why get hit when you can dodge or parry? It wasnt a perfect tactic, but it was what worked for him. He had to admit that his heart was racing - what he had pulled off wasn't exactly an easy trick when something is moving at that speed with that rotation and many other variables... Sutii was never good at math, especially on the fly. Of course, he didnt expect the splitting in half part either, the coin's speed took care of that. Not that he'd openly admit to it being a fluke. He stood steadfast, and waited for the next move. From the looks of it, his agility was going to be used a lot this fight... rushing head long into trouble was just stupid at this point.

((#387))
Tomorrow watched as #387 advanced slowly. There was a certain tact to his step - very rigid, very hard. It was obvious this guy was confident he could take John on one-on-one - without magic or weapons.
And althought the temptation to use his powers at this point was very succulent, Tomorrow decided against it. So far the man had shown remarkable skill - there was no need to sully the fight any further then he already had.
So instead he drew his arm back, closing his fist and bringing it close. His feet shifted apart slightly, giving him better footing as he drew his other arm back in as well, keeping his arms up, his fists tight - a classic boxing stance.
It was time to see what this man could do.
*********
((Sutiiven))
"I've seen better." John said with a smirk of his own as he rolled the other coin around on his fingers - before bringing it to a stop in his index finger and thumb once more.
This time he didn't sit still. Drawing his hand from his pocket, he crouched low, like a spring coiled, as he lifted his loaded hand up above his head - and shot his wrist and arm out as he flicked the coin from his fingers. There was a high-pitched zip as the coin cut through the air towards the boy once more.
The added motion of Tomorrow's arm had given the coin a speed-boost, almost doubling the speed. The coin zipped low, not aimed at the general torso but now at a different part of the anatomy - Sutiiven's legs. This would truely test the boy's speed - could he block or jump the coin as it traveled that fast?

It wasn't that the soldier thought that he could take the other man without weapons... it was that he had no weapons. Whatever the current situation was, in this unknown place, with an unknown objective, and an unknown person barring his way, there was only one path to take: forwards. One cannot advance by backing down, and one cannot retreat into a corner.
The soldier would do exactly what he was trained to do; to move forwards, and to achieve the objective without fear or hesitation.
His right hand was raised in a guard, and the left would be the striking hand as he moved in. This individual had injured his right arm just a minute ago, and that meant that the left arm would be the more dangerous of the two to consider. Keeping a right guard was the tactically sound option.
Once in range #387 would advance with a straight left aimed for the solar plexus.

This would truely test the boy's speed - could he block or jump the coin as it traveled that fast? [2] A loud yell and ear splitting sound of metal on metal emmitted from the position of the present Sutiiven - however, he wasnt standing at that exact spot any more. The sheer power of the hornet-coin had caused him to grind backwards a short distance, ripping at thr ground. He held his wide sword in front of him, this time like an improvised shield. A minor dent lay at the spot where the coin struck - had it hit the fighter's leg, the battle would have been over real quick. "Not... bad..." He was really sweating now. God knew how many coins he still had in his pocket, and he couldnt keep this up forever - especially if he had some sort of machine gun coin launching technique or what not. this was going to be a test of speed and endurance. From his stance, he began to focus his energy. If he was going to survive, he had to increase his options quickly, which was just what he planned to do. He grimmaced for a second then let out a loud Martial Artist yell - "KIAI!!!" Quote: Kiai: Sutii focuses his Ki energy in order to cause certain effects in his body to occur. Only one effect may take place at one time. May also be used with Weapon equipped. (Current Effects List: Attack Up, Defense Up, Speed Up, Charge Up, Strength Up, Will Up, Temp. Shift, Ignore Pain)(Charge: 1 Turn)(Spiritual Ability) It wasnt much - just a simple benificial manuver. However, the benifits would soon become apparent if things went just right...

((#387)) Immediantly John moved. As #387 approached, John's fists raised themselves in a standard boxing block, John's eyes peeking out from behind his fists - but as #387 threw his fist, John reacted by intercepting it with his own left hand, his hand gripping #387's wrist tight. Then John pulled, yanking #387's arm out to pull him off-balance to the left as John's feet stepped around to #387's left - to slam his right fist into his side, right in the kidneys, the blow strong enough to knock him off his feet. Continuing with the attack, Tomorrow pulled the arm again, yanking it up so #387 almost dangled from it - before slamming his palm into the elbow. The desired effect was a dislocated, perhaps even broken elbow. ***************** ((Sutiiven)) As Sutiiven peeked out from behind his sword, John had already made his move. A split second after launching the coin he'd leapt forward, landing a few feet from Sutiiven and skidding forward on his boots after him. His arms were spread out wide, his fingers splayed as Sutiiven would get a good look at the crumpled and chewed coin sticking out from between John's teeth as he smiled an evil smile down to the boy... ...Before bringing his hands together. Hard. The result was like a thunderclap going off right next to you. The shockwave of sound blew John's blond hair back, the skin on his face rippling as his shirt fought to stay on his massive body... For Sutiiven it would be much worse. Like an explosion going off right next to him, he would be knocked off his feet, his ears ringing like the Notre Dame church bells.

Like an explosion going off right next to him, he would be knocked off his feet, his ears ringing like the Notre Dame church bells. [3] The present Sutii had been so focused on charging up that he didnt notice the incoming attack. It hit, and it hurled him back a good distance due to the blast. When he hid the ground, he skidded back a bit across the rough landscape. Painful, to be sure. He grunted and got up off the ground, using his sword for support for a moment. With a grunt, he returned to an en-guard position. The distance between the two was significant, but he still refused to make a move as of yet. This guy was tough - it reminded him of the "human abbutoir" he had once fought some time ago. This was not the time to be reminiscing though, even about unpleasent times. Scratched and bruised, the swordsman held his ground, and focused intently on his opponent, waiting for his next move. Except this time, he would be ready. Quote: Meditate: Sutiiven doubles the amount of charge gained for one turn at the cost of one turn.

Even though he gripped and pulled, it wouldn't be fast enough to stop the soldier from stepping in with a right straight for the socket of Tomorrow's left eye. As for his left arm; #387 stepped in closer to Tomorrow, closing the distance. He wouldn't be able to pull at the arm from that range without turning his own body, and as for pulling the arm up... well, everyone knew how well that had gone for John the last time he tried it.

((#387))
Tomorrow smirked as he watched the man's fingers turn, speeding up to his face like a dagger ready to strike...
...Before crunching into bone.
And shattering into a million pieces.
Tomorrow lifted his head from where he'd headbutted #387's hand, the attack as simple as bending the head down to meet the attack head on. The result was devastating - if #387 had thrust with all his power, it would be like a human punching a brick wall with all his might. Suffice to say, the results would be painful, not to mention catastrophic to the phalanges and metacarpals, which would fold like a cheap hand.
Tomorrow would smirk at the man in his arm - before pulling him up, around, and down. Swinging in the air like a rag doll, Tomorrow would slam him into the ground, slapping him down like a wet blanket. Tomorrow was immense, powerful, vicious.
And now, Tomorrow had him. And he was not letting go.
******************
((Sutiiven))
Tomorrow had leapt again after his Thunderclap, the effects far far less affective on him then Sutiiven, and he had his arm cocked and raised as he moved, static trailing behind him as he swung his fist out -
- at the sword Sutiiven held!
If the punch connected, one of two things would happen.
1. Sutiiven would keep hold of the weapon - which would bend like a piece of plastic and send Sutiiven flying again, this time twisting through the air wildly before landing hard, confused and dazed...
or 2. The weapon would be smashed straight out of his hands to be sent flying into oblivion, with the grinning Tribal looking right down at him from point blank range.
If the punch didn't connect, well...John would be a great, electrically sparking, coin chewing target.
...But...what if that was what he wanted?

[7] The connection of the fist and the blade sent the weapon flying, thus leaving the present Sutiiven open. Or did it? If his opponent mocked his speed before, he hadn't seen anything yet. The moment the sword left his hand, Sutiiven slashed at his opponents face with his secondary dagger weapon held tightly in his left hand. The attack came from out of nowhere, as if he had anticipated another hit. With any luck, the sudden attack would catch the man off guard and allow for some serious openings.

Tomorrow Tomorrow was immense, powerful, vicious. That much was the deciding factor in everything at this point. A strike that could have crippled an ordinary man was not only completely defended against but it was also countered in the exact same way. Like a human punching a brick wall, right... like a human punching a tank. Bones would fracture under the pressure that was returned in the act of striking an unmovable object, causing fingers to twist misshapenly out of line and knuckles to dislocate as the soldier's fist was completely shattered by Johnathan Tomorrow's face. There was no small victory in the act; there were no repercussions of the defense. #387's right fist broke over the side of Tomorrow's face, and neither one of them flinched. UGH Soldiers like #387 are trained in the quickest and most efficient methods of bringing down an opponent; these methods are generally fast, precise, and reliant upon causing significant damage and crippling an opponent within a small number of movements. It was for this reason that training dictated that the soldier attack points of the body that resulted in the most immediate damage to an enemy - the head, neck, and joints specifically. It was just bad luck that today the enemy was classified as an MFJ; ******** Juggernaut. Swinging? Well, that's just a poorly written segment, but if he tried to do something like the way it was so dramatically described he would be attempting to swing the soldier up into the air, around, and then back down onto the ground - for that type of rotation the swing would have to be wide enough so that the mass of his body was suspended at the end of the arm's length, meaning that he would need to be swinging his opponent up behind his head - for that type of slam he wouldn't be able to just let it swing around, it would require a straighter up-down motion. So, if he was going to so frivolously attempt to sling his opponent about, Tomorrow would be surprised to find two thighs wrapped around his head halfway through the downswing when the soldier snagged his lower body on Tomorrow's. Ankles crossed, they'd hook the back of the Juggernaut's neck, and the thighs and knees would press in against the underside of his jaw as the soldier squeezed. He wasn't going over easily... if the momentum was enough to topple the giant, so be it. But at this point the reach of Tomorrow's arm wouldn't be enough to pull any more upon the soldier's, since he had both the length of is arm and the additional length of torso twisting to provide slack in 'the line'. Whether they went over or not, the soldier would do what he could to throw his body weight sharply to the left and behind; though undoubtedly Tomorrow's invincible neck muscles would flawlessly protect him, #387 continued to follow the 'by the book' procedures. This page was devoted to severing vertebrae. themightyjello "Situation 4," he said in a voice that seemed completely untouched by the blow to his midsection. Situation 4 - Hostile action by civilians. Use of Force recommended to restore order. Situation 4 - Hostile action taken against the Hunter by civilians. Use of Force recommended to restore order. Use of Deadly Force to be restrained... but allowed.

((#387))
John looked down at #387 curiously, watching as his legs twitched slightly within the small wooden enclosure he'd been slammed into. For a brief moment he wondered wether the man was dreaming - before vanishing in a puff of logic.
(Change your tampon and challenge me when you feel like fighting for real. Tomorrow is a juggernaut, I've designed him that way. If you aren't happy with the way a fight is turning out, then too bad. We all fail sometimes. We also have to accept it. So get over yourself.)
*********************
((Sutiiven))
When Tomorrow had swung he'd followed through with the attack, presenting his back to the dagger flying towards him. It was unavoidable, with such a broad, powerful blow thrown at such a speed he would have to leave himself open...
...But when the knife slammed into his back - the tip of the blade forcing itself into his tough hide by several inches before being stopped by thick muscle - he did not grimace, or yelp, or make any such movement to indicate any pain had been made by the stab.
Sutiiven would, however, receive quite a shock.
Tomorrow had been electrically charged as he had thrown himself at Sutiiven, his body being a giant conductor of the energy. When the metal blade of the knife touched his flesh, it had been like stabbing a power-socket - except ten times worse.
Sutiiven would grip the knife harder as the electricity flew up the metal and into his body, causing all his nerves to fire information at once, his muscles to spasm, and his body to smoke. He would be jolted with the equivalent of 500,000 volts - the same as a high-powered stun-gun. And that was lucky.
If John had been charging himself since the start of the fight, he would have fried Sutiiven on the spot. Instead, Sutiiven would get as tremendous jolt before being thrown away as Tomorrow threw his arm back out, slamming his fist into Sutiiven's side and sending him sliding across the floor several yards, sparks and static following in his wake.
He didn't want to kill the boy, after all.
