Oh god guys. SFU is accepting applications until April 30th and the woman at admissions said I should have no problem with my academic standing and acheivements. I've weighed the pros and cons and it seems like a really good decision for me, especially if I want to end up in Canada someday for good, but I'm TERRIFIED.
gonk WHAT DO I DO?!?!

Ugh, I feel like a douche coming to advertise this thing but these guys are my friends and I really want them to succeed. I'm trying what little I can to get their name out there so if you guys go anywhere that's worth a damn other than gaia just mention their site in passing or something >.>; They have got some decent rants and the guy that owns the site is big on imports. They call it OLC or OneLastContinue The URL is OneLastContinue.ComBear with me here and just at least go there every once in a while and see if you like their stuff.

As corny, and stupid as this sounds, just do what you feel would be best for you. It's scary moving to a new place, but the initial fear subsides when the excitement takes over. You'll do great and you'll be happy. And that's what's important. sweatdrop
You're long overdue for the happiness you've always deserved.

You're long overdue for the happiness you've always deserved. It's weird. All of you guys (my highschool friends) are really supportive and saying I should do what I want and many are saying it might be really good for me.
All my college friends are trying to say I shouldn't and a couple are even pulling "So you're just going to ditch your friends?" guilt-trips confused
I filled out the application today, and am dropping by the registrar here tomorrow and Unatego on Thursday to request transcripts.
I think this would be really good for me. I've always wanted to break out a bit, get some city-life, have new experiences... but I've also always defaulted to playing it safe. It's time to try something.

gonk WHAT DO I DO?!?! If you really think it's good for you and you want to do it, you should. :3 Definitely. Sometimes things that are scary and different are the most awesome things you can end up doing.
From what you've said, at least, it sounds like you're mostly in favour. No sense just playing it safe and always wondering. GO FORTH AND CONQUER.
Or something. :B

Dr. Fomite From what you've said, at least, it sounds like you're mostly in favour. No sense just playing it safe and always wondering. GO FORTH AND CONQUER. Or something. :B *snugglecling* Well at least I'd have Spider and Rosa there. Some people go out to places where they know NO ONE at all. That would be a lot scarier D:
