The original is always best.

Fight closed in Barton Town bracket. Dreslin is now fighting himself. If he doesn't immediately drop one of the characters I'm tempted to start taking bets on how long he can go before starting a PM debate with himself over ability use.

Not meaning to cut out Dreslin there - but if you can handle two spars, than.. I'd very much like to. I need to do something to kill my rust. domokun

Vahn, rarely do I hear an intelligent comment from yourself...

Because you only see what I say here.

I stopped taking things in here seriously 5 months ago.

We can always try each other out Omi, if you wish. No powers of course. Weapons, though?

Sounds quite good, sir. And nah- I prefer to keep practice spars, if we'll call them that, on as little of a lethal edge as possible. And with my weapon's state, that'd be difficult. XD;

Perhaps, if you're interested Airiza, we could have our little bout in the 'Outskirts', and Dreslin, our own at the ol' Gym? User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

[Vahn]: Excuses don't become you. domokun And true, I only see what you type here. Most of it just seems to be nodding your head metaphorically to what others say, though, so forgive me if I can't help but make an assumption or two.

I suppose, I can see how trying to take anything seriously here lost it's flavor, though..

Why would it be a problem at the current state? I was going to use a staff.

.. Y.. Yes, well, let me explain.

If it's some generic weapon the Gym may very well hold, sure.

If it's "bring your own", than I'm afraid, my character's weapon is.. hard to use without the potential of killing someone. XD; Not that someone can't die by any other means anyway, but seriously: to wound, is simplistic with this.

Didn't the dojo have detail as holding a bunch of weapons, though?

Please go into further detail about said weapon. Might be able to work around it with the right kind of staff.

Honestly - it's more trouble than it's worth, I assure you. =P Digging up a homage-detail to it in an older post of mine,

Quote:
Caladbolg. The name, homage to an old Celtic legend of a weapon which could cut two hilltops in a single strike, has a literal translation of "Hard Lightning". Perhaps it was bad fortune for Number 66, that his match hadn't came just a few days earlier; for then, the mercenary twould not have had such a fine weapon, forged in gratitude by the swordsmith Kuro in this very arena. Yet, that really wasn't a relevant matter; what was important, was the fact that this blade seemed to be nothing along the lines of 'average'. No, rather, one could see why a name given after a weapon of legends was fitting; this was a marvelous sword. 22 centimeter hilt & handle, 40 centimeter blade height, and a strangely curved blade tip an exact ten centimeters down from the very tip. Across the handle, was a large number of leather & dark blue-cotton strips, which gave the blade a regal feel. Good grip, and amazingly light at roughly just a pound; which, in comparison to many common one-handed blades that weigh three-five pounds, would prove to make this weapon as light as a feather in handle. Furthermore, the handle itself, composed of numerous metals & substances melded together, not limited to just some trace amounts of silver and kreen, was a masterful work in and of itself. Yet, all of this was just second detail.

The first detail one would catch, twould be the immense glow of the blade. Soft, non-violent light that eased one's eyes.. yet, such a wide range of the light in which it shed was held. This was due to the metal of the blade, nicknamed 'Ghostjade' in fullpart, due to the glow which coined the name for it's enthrall radiance; which, the villagers that had discovered the unrefined metal some ways north of this very arena, would say resembled a spirit. One-fifths the weight of iron or steel, and easily ten-fold times stronger - this metal, refined in an expertcraft, made the blade that more dangerous. Yet, even for the supposedly regal Ghostjade, this sword had an odd hue to it's otherwise blue & white glow..

Now that I think of it, it should work well for a non-lethal match. Just.. I have inhibitions. XP

Neh, nevermind. Let's give it a shot.

Lightweight one-handed, yet superly strong versus normal weapon standards? Adamantium jingu staff it is.

You post first or me?
