That's actually...reasonable. I remember doing a problem like this in probability, and the likelihood that two people in a room will have the same birthday exceeds 50% with 23 or more people in a room. (This number holds true for leap years as well If you mean that two other people AND you share the same birthday, it actually gets a bit statistically weird - it's not until you get 84 people in a room when there's a better than 50% chance that three people will share the same birthday. (And then there's the 1 in 28 chance that you're one of those three.

I was at a convention a few years back where they fed us in groups of ~a thousand or so at a time. Every single day we'd hear someone singing happy birthday. We thought it was weird until we realized, that mathematically speaking there should be at least 3 in every thousand for any given day. XD

LunaInverse Technologist Tony Stark Rae x Rae LunaInverse @Rae Rae: what's your major? Well it's sort of just changed for the third time. My original major was chemistry, so I lost a year's worth of core courses. My second was writing, but there aren't enough classes offered, so finally I decided that I was already far into a literature degree.
So now I'm an English lit major minoring in religious studies. Contemplated that myself. I think Catholic school burned me out on religious studies... xd Hence why I did not.

My original major was chemistry, so I lost a year's worth of core courses. My second was writing, but there aren't enough classes offered, so finally I decided that I was already far into a literature degree.
So now I'm an English lit major minoring in religious studies. Contemplated that myself. English can be such a fun major. Especially if you find yourself with the right professors: Our classes are filled with debates, discussion, and the most random facts possible. Of course, I personally the constant separation of "Literature" from "literature" in classes annoying as hell, but I generally argue it if it comes up so that's not enough to deter me from the study as a whole.
The religion minor is fun though I muchly prefer to take the less obvious classes. I am taking Judaism and will be taking Hinduism as they're requirements, but otherwise I'm studying stuff like religion used in literature as an explanation for life and events, the use of architecture and space in sacred areas (which I get to travel a tiny bit for!), and religious cults. It's pretty enjoyable, though I would never do it as an actual major. I am exceedingly post modern in my airs, so I heartily agree with the annoyance of capital L Literature versus the lower case variety. Put your fist in the air my revolutionary comrade! scream
