You could PM your captain and ask about it. There are probably some people who are on your team that aren't active. You could take one of their places.

I haven't seen my Head of House on in ages actually. The prefect has kind of taken over and I already posted in the common room some of my plans and I'll look and see what they think. *Shrugs* I don't need this stress, but this will be really fun at the same time.

Kita, I really hope the RP sparks your interest! Quite a few people have signed up for characters, but we can't actually START the game until the people playing the 6 major characters (Marauders, Lily, and Snape) complete their character profiles. Most of us are done, but it's been over a week and if the remaining people don't have anything up by Wednesday I'll PM them and ask them if they need suggestions. My 3 profiles took me about an hour apiece, so I know they're a bit time-consuming, but they only have to be completed once.
I hope you're allowed to do Quidditch also since you're interested in playing!
Lily, our Head of House isn't around too often either. That's why we PM LHH when we have any ideas/questions.

*Shrugs* Things usually work out somehow. Our Head is probably just freaking out about finals because it's almost the end of the semester for the college kids and I know I have finals soon. I'm moving out at the end of them so I've got double the stress. Though Madam Hooch extended the start of games until the 15th of December so I'll have a bit more time. I don't know who madam Hooch is. She/He is using the Stickler Support mule and she/he says she/he can be announced yet because it's a suprise. *Shrugs* It will be fun. As for the rp, like I said, I would join, but I leave for boot camp soon, and now all my energy will go into this team, finals, and preparing. Yay me.

Lily, moving out is indeed stressful, but - take it from someone who lives on her own - it's BRILLIANT not having people around questioning why you aren't doing something productive or telling you to turn off your Japanese music. biggrin It's okay you can't join the RP. We'd like to play with you, but it's responsible of you to refrain from committing to something that you wouldn't be able to complete.

That's cool you'll have more time. I'm sure you'll pull something together! Really? That's kinda cool it's a surprise. It would probably be easier to straight up know who it is though.

Oh I'm living in the college dorms right now so it's not really home. I'm going back home for a month before I go to boot camp. I agree with it being easier to just know. I don't know why they are keeping it a secret anyways, I just know I've only got a little time to get Hufflepuff ready.

I've always wanted to live in dorms. When I go to college, I want to stay on campus. Hmm.. who knows why it's a secret. I wonder who it is. Well, good luck!

It's a lot of fun, but I can't decide if the one I live in is more like a Hotel, Hospital, Bank Vault, or Prison. It's just really random. Though I really like all my roommates.

One of my best friends didn't like his college dorm mate last year, so it IS pretty unfortunate when that happens. I don't want to live in a dorm because - while I'm a friendly, open person - I REALLY need my privacy. Public showers? Not working for me.

Hahaha well I call it a prison/bank vault because you have to have a key card to get in any door. To get in the building, to get in the apartment, and to get in the bedroom. It's annoying. That's one reason it reminds me of a hotel as well but also the structure of it all because there is just a hallway of doors once you enter the floor and it's kind of creepy. It reminds me of a hospital because of the hall of doors as well, and the fact that all the floors look the same, and they are very plain. Though from what I hear the dorms across the street are more like a prison. The entire floor shares a bathroom. In the one I'm in there are 2 bathrooms per apartment. In the one across the street they don't have a kitchen and can't cook their food so have to either eat at the cafeteria or go out. They also have tiny rooms that have two to a room and the whole floor shares everything. It would drive me crazy.
Hahaha you know how i was stressed out about Quidditch for the Haven? Well the link on my sig is a guild I'm captain of, and I just had the Vice Captain point out that I suck at being captain because I haven't been doing much in it. I've just been really busy. I tried explaining that and she snapped at me saying I couldn't talk to her about stress. I then snapped telling her not to snap at me because if people snap at me for just trying to understand things it makes me lose my temper which makes them snap at me more and it's just a downward cycle from there.

Aw, Lly, don't blame yourself. You're probably just taking on too many responsibilities and stretching yourself too thin. If you only had one or two things to focus on you'd be brilliant at them!
I entered the Fan Fic contest! No surprise there; I almost always enter, and this month's theme is all about my favourite character! smile I didn't enter sooner because I was planning on writing something especially for this contest, but with getting into real life car accidents and my grandmother's breast cancer...Well, I didn't have time, so I settled for submitting something Remus-related that I had already written a while ago. As usual, it's the only Marauders' Era submission, so I hope you enjoy it! razz
