Rae x Rae My roommate is starting to drive me crazy. So close to pushing her out a window no matter how good friends we are ;-; Tell you what, I'll come over with my new speakers, you lure her near the window, and I'll turn the bass all the way up. The resulting shockwave should blast her into New Jersey.

The resulting shockwave should blast her into New Jersey. She would probably just keep talking over them. This girl is the most NEGATIVE woman I have ever met. And very, very loud about it. She complains about everything: Going to class, class being canceled, having to do work, having to go to work, nothing good being on tv, the Indian girls across the hall (I'm starting to think this is a race issue because she's so angry at them and they've all been so nice), etc etc etc. She also waits until midnight the night before a paper is due to start it, keeping the light on until two in the morning and telling me how easy I have it because I get to go to bed since I finished beforehand.
Please note that while I was working, she was reading her cheesy vampire sex novels.
I love her to death, but she copied my schedule for this semester so I barely ever get a break from her gonk Even best friends need breaks sometimes.

And and and! When she's all worn out from the screaming and complaining, I shall send her back, an empty vessel for you to mold in which ever image you desire. =3

Rae x Rae LunaInverse @Rae Rae: what's your major? Well it's sort of just changed for the third time. My original major was chemistry, so I lost a year's worth of core courses. My second was writing, but there aren't enough classes offered, so finally I decided that I was already far into a literature degree.
So now I'm an English lit major minoring in religious studies. Contemplated that myself.

Why is it that the new story I'm kicking around in my head sounds so much like a book about Hannibal Lecter?

She knew I was a psych major, so I was her go-to-girl whenever she had a problem. And she ALWAYS seemed to have problems. Especially at 4 am, and I had a class at 8 am... gonk We don't want your roomie here in Mass, either. We've got enough problems as it is. Try Maine. Lots of wilderness for her to get lost in or devoured by wolves or bears.

So now I'm an English lit major minoring in religious studies. Contemplated that myself. English can be such a fun major. Especially if you find yourself with the right professors: Our classes are filled with debates, discussion, and the most random facts possible. Of course, I personally the constant separation of "Literature" from "literature" in classes annoying as hell, but I generally argue it if it comes up so that's not enough to deter me from the study as a whole.
The religion minor is fun though I muchly prefer to take the less obvious classes. I am taking Judaism and will be taking Hinduism as they're requirements, but otherwise I'm studying stuff like religion used in literature as an explanation for life and events, the use of architecture and space in sacred areas (which I get to travel a tiny bit for!), and religious cults. It's pretty enjoyable, though I would never do it as an actual major.
