Ah, there's nothing quite like the feeling of taking a practice exam you feel kinda eh about afterwords, then going and looking through the sample answer your professor posted to show what a good answer might look like, and realizing that they have almost nothing in common. gonk gonk gonk

Anyway. So, this morning was interesting. Woke up, took a physics test, thought I had a probability test today, get to prob...and discover that the ******** put it off till Wednesday.
My prob prof is a gigantic p***k. talk2hand

Pwned. I have my next Japanese Unit Test on monday...wish me luck! I got a 53/100 on the last one...*sigh* In retrospect, it actually wasn't that bad. I met with my Torts professor and got her to look over my answer and she said it was pretty good compared to the other students who brought theirs in. Now that I have a little more specific advice on which things to focus on, the test is slightly less menacing.

...DAMMIT!
For those who may remember, I won a free trip to Japan at AX 2008. I've been keeping in touch with them on the details, and they just set the date for their tour in the Spring, which is pretty much the tour I need to take (unless I can get them to extend it, at which point, I'd probably aim for next spring. They really only do 2-3 tours a year). The dates of the tour are the 17th through the 23rd.
The problem? My Spring Break doesn't start until the 23rd, so I'd be missing four days of classes, possibly a whole week, right before Spring Break. Now, normally, Law School classes let you miss 2-3 classes per semester before you get into some pretty serious trouble (depending on the class). Not to mention the fact that missing almost a whole week isn't good in general for learning the material.
So I'm a little frustrated. I may talk to them, see if it's possible to extend the range in which I can take the tour to try for next year's (which presents a whole new set of problems, since I'll potentially have advocacy things to do and such). Otherwise, I want to take the tour, and probably will, but missing class like that really sucks.
