Joasis Newspaper Robbery assault: At 8 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a report that a 19-year-old man walking by Delaware and Telegraph streets was beaten and robbed of his cell phone and groceries he was carrying by two men asking for change and beer. When he refused, the two men got out of a parked car, possibly a four-door, 1980s blue or gray Honda or Acura and assaulted him, according to the report. He was taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center for swelling to his face Is that actually (aside from the age) what happened to you? eek

So, there I was at Best Buy. I was waiting for today, because the second half of the Ghost Hunt series was supposed to be released today. I checked online before leaving to make sure the store by my place had the DVD set in.
So I get dressed and go off to the store. I walk to the anime section, and go to where the "G"s are, and find Ghost Hunt...and something else. I personally don't know how they slipped this one past me, but the English dub special edition box set of Gurren Lagann was sitting there, in all it's spiral glory.

So what did I do? I bought both, of course. Curse you, Bandai!!!

I checked online before leaving to make sure the store by my place had the DVD set in. So I get dressed and go off to the store. A similar thing happened to me today. I too went to best buy seeking the second half of Ghost Hunt. Except my best buy didn't have it, but what did they have instead? Darker than Black, which was SUPPOSED to come out next week on the day before my birthday. And since next week is going to be really busy for me, I would have had little to no chance of getting it until at least the week after.
So of course I bought it...And that same Gurren Lagann set, along with the first seven episodes of Moribito, first nine episodes of Code Geass, and The Girl who Leapt Throught Time.

Um, Swelling's gone down on my eye, still kind of hard to eat though, I can't open my mouth all the way yet and I have a few chipped teeth. My leg is swollen pretty bad, I wasn't expecting that, must be from all the activity at work.
Oh man, the store manager singled me out today during the store meeting and pointed out my incident on saturday. I was nicely hidden away in the background when he raised his hand and asked if he could continue with the story(even though everyone's heard at this point.) Seeing as I hate leaving things unfinished, and he was almost finished when he asked for the go ahead, he went ahead and told everyone what happened to me. Aside from the billions of questions, it was nice seeing who the people that really cared about me were at work. I feel so loved. redface heart

So, Stream has a sister, and I think I just found her doppelganger. I was driving home, and I see this girl walking towards the gas station near our place, and I swear, this girl was the spitting image of Stream's sister. The body shape, the clothes, the face, the hair color, even the way she wears her hair. I mean, it was uncanny.
I tried calling her to find out if she was up here around 2:50 pm, just to make sure it wasn't her.
It was really freaky.
