You know how there are some things you just don't get, no matter how hard you try to understand?
I think I might be at that stage, and the only cure may be more reading. gonk
(I've just started reading it.)

I learned an important lesson over the past 24 hours: midnight release event and white castle don't mix. my stomach was destroyed all day due to those delicious little devil burgers.

@PG: I will confess, I have to catch myself before abbreviating that. Because I always feel that saying "STD" would be FAR too obvious. xd

I got gas today for $1.72... eek
I went to the Stop & Shop gas station in a neighboring town, and when you scan your S&S card, it knocks $.05 off. The advertised price was $1.92, but when I scanned my card, it came up as $1.72. So I filled my tank for $12. That was a good feeling... heart

That was a good feeling... heart Wait, Stop & Shops offer gas? ...I'm a dork for even thinking about this, but yeah. But holy s**t, $1.92 even? I think even the Costco around here isn't that low yet (though I haven't been out there in a while). Most of the stations around here are just over $2, and while it's Jersey...it's also Jersey. (No, you're not allowed to fill your own tank, which adds on to the price. But we have pretty low gas taxes, last I checked.) Never mind that, what are you driving, a bicycle? A cardboard box with wheels? How does $12 at $1.72 get a full tank? (Or, I'm just being a tard and your tank was like already half full.) Rae: I know. whee Unfortunately, I tend to act my shoe size more than my age. Granted, I have big feet (13 emo ), but it's still not a good thing. Everyone: ******** SHARKS WITH LASERS. scream

Not all of the Stop & Shops around here offer gas, but some do. My car is a Toyota Corolla and I was just below half a tank. I started cutting down on my driving when, a few months ago, it cost me $25 to fill my tank even if it was half full, and I'm still driving way less, even with the lower prices. One of my friends is living in Jersey now, and she mentioned that all the stations are full service, which made me laugh. I think there's maybe 2 full service stations anywhere even remotely close to me. When I got my license, gas was averaging $.96/gallon. At one point I remember it costing $.88. I miss those days.
