Dr. Fomite Great Tattooist Oni If only Kapow didn't already have an Alfred. Damnation. Mala would make an epic Bat-villain, but she is too epic to actually be one of them if that makes sense. They just aren't brilliantly twisted enough. whee I want to be a cool villain. emo But... you are. Just by being you.

Thing is, when I pick characters for people, it's because they already have the skills/attitude to rock out as that character. Take a run through his wikipedia page and tell me you aren't perfect for it.

Skizzors Hey, hey guys. I'm a mod on a smaller avatar site, so.. could you just tell me.. when is my conscience going to go away? When it's been beaten down hundreds of times by people who, as you will eventually learn, will never learn and never really give a crap about you or anyone else. Oh, wait, that's at my job...but I guess it still applies.

So....I only get nightmares like, once or twice a year, but the one I had last night just left me confused....and feeling incredibly pathetic.
Basically, some mentally challenged kid dressed as the Hal Jordan Green Lantern was stalking me and trying to kill me...

Sounds better than my dreams about Stream hunting me down and trying to kill me (it happened TWICE back during the first few years we were dating). xd

So, AG, I have decided that finally all my sympathy and empathy for my clients has been sucked dry, and only the empty shell remains when I go to work.
I need a new line of work. I am tired of clients that won't learn, who refuse to listen to reason, who refuse to help themselves and instead wait for everyone else to bail them out. I am tired of realizing that for every 100 clients that come through my program, only 1 or 2 will make it. I am tired of dong the same thing over and over again, only to see failure after failure, because the clients refuse to listen.
And sadly, the job market sucks around here, and I am sorely tempted to return to retail work. Less pay, but less disappointment and hopefully less stress.

Well, Luna, I'd say one of the foremost things to think about is your money situation. Would you make enough (along with Stream) for the two of you to get by if you took a retail job? I can definitely understand your need to change jobs, but if you won't have enough money after the change (until something better comes along), then I'd suggest searching while working at this one. If you can afford to get by with a retail job until something else presents itself, then I'd say go for it. You shouldn't have to put yourself through that if you can find something else.
Also, who else is playing the battle system now?

I quit my tiny little tutoring job after far too much frustration with the students. I feel SO much happier.
@Luna: sad heart If you do decide to go to another job, I hope you find yourself much happier there.

Luna, you could always try working with a different group of people. The group you currently work with...too many issues. You could try something like I do (I work with autistic kids). I would imagine that it's more rewarding since you're actually helping them out tremendously.
