Rae x Rae Dear god, the doctor I went to yesterday put me on an antibiotic geared toward things like malaria and MRSA. It made me soooo sick. Just got back from the ER xd Uhhh...fail? TAKE THEM TO COURT! Zely will help ninja

@ WJ: The name "bobo" reminds me of smelly clowns though D: Well that's frightening. All the antibiotic I took recently did was give me a rash and a sore throat...Though that was the first bad reaction I've ever had to any type of medication. I'm glad you're okay though! heart

@ WJ: The name "bobo" reminds me of smelly clowns though D: Malaria? Malaria's a parasite. confused I can't see an antibiotic being used for that. But what the hell, they put you on s**t for MRSA? The hell? Aside from pretty much dropping an atom bomb on an anthill (I don't know what you had, but I don't know if it called for that), doesn't that ******** with things like...you know, Staph aureus? (Which would be the SA in MRSA.) In other words, people like your doctor are the reason why we have things like MRSA. I hope you're feeling better, though. I'd give your doctor a cockpunch for doing that - actually, I don't think you live that far from me, so I might just go up there and actually GIVE him a cockpunch. scream

"Given with chloroquine or quinine, clindamycin is effective and well-tolerated in treating Plasmodium falciparum malaria; the latter combination is particularly useful for children, and is the treatment of choice for pregnant women who become infected in areas where resistance to chloroquine is common."
I don't know why she put me on it though. I understand she was being cautious, but come on. She put me on an antibiotic that's quite well-known for adverse reactions. For an infected cyst.
I finally went to the ER when, over six hours after taking the last pill, I was still shaking, weak, throwing up, and having trouble walking. The doctor there gave me a prescription more common for what I had, and some nausea medicine.

Well, I Wiki'd it and apparently it IS able to be used with mild acne, so a cyst wouldn't be that far off, right?

Like, it can definitely work and was helping it, but it's such a strong antibiotic - way too strong for me anyway, judging by the mess I was yesterday. I started the medication that is usually given for cysts and thankfully have been a-okay. Still recovering a bit from last night but it's going away.

Are any of you guys watching Fringe? It's pretty obviously being set up to be the new X-Files, and it's already living up to that, in my mind. I could definitely see Zely, Stream, Luna, and PhoeGo digging it.
