Joasis She kept going in circles and Biden kept giving points. She didn't fall on her a** like I was expecting but I can tell those circles she kept running in were well scripted dialogue for when she was on the ropes.
I don't think she's stupid, you don't get to where she is by playing nice. But at the same time, I think she's way out of her league and she's costing her boss points where it matters. The Maverick's gamble on winning the Hilary vote is failing, she convincing a lot of undecided voters to the opposition.
And yeah, that some of my best friends bit made me laugh too! xp See, I'm totally in the tank for Obama, but I didn't even really THINK that it'd work for the Cheesecake Brigade (or, if you want to be nicer, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pantsuits). Most of those actual voters are moderate, either leaning somewhat liberal or somewhat conservative in their social views. Sarah Palin is far right socially, though I haven't gotten a sense for her fiscal leanings (though the McCain campaign is doing its damndest to turn her into a good little neocon footsoldier). Basically, the only thing that she has in common with Hillary politically is that she has a vagoo, and that became evident within a week of her nomination. I really think that the campaign wanted to have its cake (play to the base) and eat it too (peel away moderate women), but to really pull in one you had to kind of sacrifice the other. They played her for the base, and I think that's probably the major reason she was picked. In lighter news: Happy birthday, Chrysant!

I actually don't like much in the way of alcohol at all...Seems like most of what I've tried just tastes too strong.

I can generally stand the stuff with very, very small amounts in it, but anything else is just "Bleeeeeh gonk "
My old friends from highschool think it's because I'm no fun. I think it's just the same thing as not liking tomatoes, sushi, or ketchup on french toast (which is surprisingly yummy). It just tastes so baaaaad to me Dx

From San Miguel (beer) to Magners (cider) to vodka. Fun times had by all. <3
