Ok, so 30 minutes in and McCain is saying a lot of the same stuff...

Alrighty, so after the debate my mind still hasn't changed all that much from voting for Obama. Although, I was a little miffed that neither of them confesses how the bailout plan would affect their priorities. McCain says freeze spending except for defense funds and veteran care and "essentials", whatever that means. Uhhh, no? Obama was extremely vague, saying he might postpone a "component" of his desire for pursuing alternative energy. *sigh*
Obama nailed McCain on a few points, especially bringing up that McCain said the war in Iraq would be fast and easy when it wasn't, and constantly correcting McCain and maintaining his cool when John just kept speaking over him.
I can't really think of anything McCain said that I thoroughly agreed with...
In any case, I think that McCain might take a huge hit to his campaign after the vice presidential debate next week. With Palin's aides denying subpoenas, her disastrous talk with Katie Couric, and all of the other wild stories surrounding her term as governor in Alaska, not to mention her very odd personality, I'm afraid her true colors may come out during the debate and scare a lot of people away from the McCain ticket.
So yeah, there's my political input, if anyone cares. razz
