Rae x Rae Nope - apparently he was the only one home, which is good because they have three young-ish children.
Apparently it was just a freak accident because of propane leaking in just the right place in the home at just the right time. He's not in the hospital I guess, but he's in a lot of pain and has been having some trouble as far as motor functions and concentration.
Should be fine as long as there are no infections that set in. If he's not in the hospital, he might want to go. Problems with motor control and concentration shouldn't be ignored. But I'm glad no one else was hurt.

I feel partially removed and distant because I guess things don't feel as real when you just hear about them.
I'm feeling a bit worse about it since I called him and got the impression he was extremely surprised and happy that I'd called. Not to mention I'm kind of revisiting my grandma's death since my birthday's next week and I'm trying to get myself ready for it, so as soon as I heard there was an accident it was like "... ******** no. Not again."

"Ashley,
First, I am ok. We had an explosion at the house, and I have been burned pretty badly. I can't write more cause all my fingers but two are burned. Hands and arms and face are toast, but i think will recover in time. You can call me if you want." eek
