Holy s**t. Just came home to this e-mail from dad:
"Ashley,
First, I am ok. We had an explosion at the house, and I have been burned pretty badly. I can't write more cause all my fingers but two are burned. Hands and arms and face are toast, but i think will recover in time. You can call me if you want." eek

Hands and arms and face are toast, but i think will recover in time. You can call me if you want." eek That's pretty crazy. Its a good thing that he's safe and apparently avoided any particularly serious (i.e. needing the ambulance) though. You should send him some kind of ointment to put on that though... I hear the scant amount of body fat left on a North American Suyo is perfect when rendered down.

Apparently it was just a freak accident because of propane leaking in just the right place in the home at just the right time. He's not in the hospital I guess, but he's in a lot of pain and has been having some trouble as far as motor functions and concentration.
Should be fine as long as there are no infections that set in.
