So, you know what really annoys me?
If I had heard a couple of customers swearing while they were shopping, that's one thing. But really, the cashier should NOT be swearing in front of the customers. I was at Family Dollar, and went to the counter to pay for my items. As I'm putting my change back into my wallet, and then into my pocketbook, the clerk starts talking to the other girl working in the shop, telling her how when this girl first started working there, she thought she was a b***h. She said the word b***h 4 times in the minute between me getting my change and leaving the store.
Seriously, what happened to customer service? I NEVER swore in front of customers when I was waitressing. Hell, I would have gotten in trouble for it if I had. Seriously, even if the Family Dollar caters to a lower-income clientale, it doesn't mean you can say whatever you want while working.

Yeah, I know work isn't always fun and I know people want to talk without restrictions or might be having a bad day, but come on. I know when I go to work I act a lot better than most of the employees in my city, whether I'm dealing with someone super-smiley, or the bitchiest person ever confused
