I don't miss high school...at all. I miss college, though.
I miss high school, because my high school was math-and-science-magnet-college-prep-residential craziness. It was probably one of the most meaningful experiences in my life, too. Not to say college hasn't been important or influential, either, just that what I gained and learned during high school has really changed me for life and prepared me for college.
It was awesome :]
I went to Catholic school. Nuff' said.
xd Good for college prep, don't get me wrong. But considering that I didn't get along with 90% of the school (or rather, they didn't get along with me. I was totally cool, but since I listened to heavy metal music, I was unworthy
rolleyes ) ...yeah, don't miss high school.
I honestly don't miss either.
I don't miss High School (...much) because the school administration had its head up its a** a lot of the time and I really didn't like...well...almost all of the administrative staff. The exceptions were one of the deans, who was really pretty funny, the librarian, and the first two people running the bookroom and computer lab, both of whom actively took the side of students who wanted to (and did) use the lab for computer games, even after the rest of the administration tried to close it down to that (despite the fact that basically nobody else used the lab for anything.
stressed ).
As for teachers, I had some really good ones, and some absolutely terrible ones. At this point, I think all the good ones have left the school (one to get onto the school board, but still...) while the terrible ones are still there. People-wise, though, I got along with most of the people at the school. I liked the people in my classes, on my Mock Trial team (a lot of overlap in those categories), and people like FFG who I hung out and played Starcraft with.
And I don't miss college because...I just graduated last year. Hasn't been long enough to really miss it yet. XD
