Jackie-senpai teh CB Motion City Soundtrack = BESTBANDEVER. guh I have so much love for them. I'm seeing them in October and I'm PUMPED. They're a lot of fun, I'll give you that...and what little we caught of their set they were really good live! I got my 'Even if it kills me' album signed and bought a T-shirt that had the dolls from the 'It had to be you' video. 3nodding xd So then what other bands are you into? (I never pass up a chance to talk about music!) They're absolutely wonderful live. And the guys are really nice whee I met all but Tony (the drummer) the last time I saw them and ended up spending about 15 minutes talking to Matt (the bassist) about music with my roommate. Did you meet any of them when you got your CD signed? I really like a huge amount of everything. Most accurate description is here: http://www.last.fm/user/quixentric/ A lot of Warped bands I could actually do without, as well as most other bands in that genre. MCS is just wonderful from their first EPs to their latest release and a huge exception for me. But I try not to label or hide under genre umbrella when it comes to the music I listen to. I like everything from strange, awkward indie music to old school pop to 70s rock.

Zelyhon Okay, so over the past two weeks or so, I've slowly been moving into my apartment in Sacramento. As of right now, I am fully moved in and mostly organized. I'm hooked into the wireless and everything seems to be in order! Law School orientation begins tomorrow. Let's see what happens! Good luck, Zely! Glad the move is going well and the like whee

So, I got home from work today to find a PM in my inbox. Seems I've finally been accepted into the zOMG testing guild. I am currently reading through every useful bit of information I can find, and am waiting for Zelo to get home so I can ask him a million questions.

I like everything from strange, awkward indie music to old school pop to 70s rock. I didn't, but my boyfriend did. I'm really more the quiet and shy type, so that's usually how it goes, but I don't really mind. I usually just say hi and that kind of thing. But now that I think about it, they did give me an extra signed poster...And I did have kind of an interesting conversation with The Matches last year about my TMNT T-shirt....They couldn't decide which was better, my shirt, or the girl next to me in line who was wearing one of their band shirts. xd I don't pay much attention to genres to be honest...maybe just the bare basics, but it always seemed that so many bands get labeled as several different things, so it seems kind of useless to even pay it any mind. Though I do mostly like punk and rock music...I like some heavy metal, especially when I have a headache...which seems weird but I guess its because the tones have a lower pitch than the other stuff I listen to...I dunno. I do like some pop as well...but its gotta be REALLY poppy...like Aqua or Japanese pop music.

Yes. I knew you'd like that. I'm not terribly fond of the song Barbie Girl, and there's one other off their first album that I always skip...but other than that they're just plain fun. 3nodding

After much thought, I put in an application online for a part time position at JetBlue airlines doing ticketing at the new terminal they are supposed to open in October at JFK. Honestly, I hope it turns into a fulltime position since my other job is a NIGHTMARE at times. American Airlines is pure crap when it come to how they treat us at baggage service.

Honestly, I hope it turns into a fulltime position since my other job is a NIGHTMARE at times. American Airlines is pure crap when it come to how they treat us at baggage service. I hope it goes well for you! I'm also going to start looking for a new job, since the one I've got right now doesn't pay as well as I need and they treat the nursing staff like s**t. I guess my boyfriend is going to pick me up an application for where he works....It would be cool if I could work there, starting pay is like $1.45 more than I currently make at my job...and then it supposedly goes up like another dollar after 2-3 months. Plus I could probably carpool and save on gas! surprised What does it say about our society when I can make more money as a janitor than I can taking care of people? In other news: Robert Downey Jr. apparently hates DC comics. xd

Rae x Rae Yup. The August 2008 issue.
Like I said to Luna, I was surprised not because I wouldn't expect Maxim to put out anything good, but because I didn't know the whole thing had gotten to be so big as to be covered in magazines such as that. As far as the places I go to online, it seemed to have fizzled out of interest. Granted, I don't hang out in a lot of places where it's bound to be discussed frequently, but it was still a surprise to me to see it brought up again not in one of my online communities, but on the magazine rack in my hairdresser's place!
@Luna: It's just so cute! xd I think that's what I'm going to give myself for my birthday. The story has a surprising amount of legs, given that almost no one reporting on it actually understands what happened or who Anonymous actually is. I've only read a single article that linked Chanology Anonymous with Dog Curtains Anonymous. Welcome to America, I suppose.

Honestly, I don't think I'd ever want to work for ANY airline. But then again, I've had more than enough tell me that they think MY job is a nightmare. At any rate, good luck with the new job!
