koolkat104 You know you're a band geek when you can easily take over for your conductor in case of emergency to one or more songs.... Our school doesn't have any music-based teachers on their sub list, so when out BD isn't here, one student takes over the class while a sub just sits there making sure you're actually doing soemthing. I take over my half of the class, and one of the seniors takes over her half.

.... you stay up `till 2 in the morning reading band jokes.
.... you're more excited for marching season to start again then for school.

You know you're a band geek when you drag 100 pounds to and from the field every day...and like it.
Or you don't object to doing another 'ONE MORE TIME AND THEN WE GET WATER'.
Or even that you practice during the water breaks after a gush'n'go.
Or even that the only reason you want school to start is so you can finally get back into festivals and their included bus rides.
...I really have no life outside of marching band, let's face it. Not even jazz band can fill the void of lulz and awesomeness. ;_;
I'm such a geek, I can remember freshman year's show on xylophone *even the song I didn't play mallets on*, and I think I'll remember this year's show, but I barely remember last year's show. wtf. xD

x__CrimsonRegret ..when you've told so many "this one time, at band camp" stories that your friends don't recognise it form American Pie. ..when you can play every song on a trumpet, clarinet, saxaphone, tuba, baritone, and trombone, but for 5 years of trying, you've never made a single note come from a flute. And yes, I've been trying to make a note come out of a flute for 5 years, but I've never been able to *stabs* that's funny because that's the exact amount of years i've been making notes come out of my flute biggrin

Dark Kitsune Master You know you're a band geek if...
-You play video games that have nothing but music (Like DDR) and hum them to yourself
-You attempt to make a band with you and your friends with songs that are already mady
-You like to hear people fail at other songs because you think you can do it right even though you can't.
-You have an addiction to organizing music sheets by name
-Or you like to go on Gaia Towns and listen to the default song for hours on end.
I know there are plenty more created and thought of, many more of which are more creative, but I'm just passing time. im definately guilty of the one in the middle!

...You march in time with a fire alarm. ...when you look forward to marching band season and not school. xD ..You actually give up a water break in hopes of finishing the set that day. ( We did that. Our band teacher was like " One more time, you get water.." all of us were like " NOOO..FINISH NOW, THEN GET WATER!!"

Spurple You know you're a band geek when you don't know the words to your fight song, but you can sing your part to every band song you've ever gotten. (Extra points if your friends can sing their parts with you to the point where it actually sounds like the song. xd ) I have to ask the cheerleaders(shudders) for the lyrics if I want them, cuz they sing them, but you can't hear them anyway over us! 3nodding

DiddleFreak61387 Masquanade You know you're a band nerd when you dressed up in your old band uniform as your halloween costume. I didn't do it . . . but someone else did sweatdrop That is a brilliant idea! I'm totally gonna ask my BD if I can borrow my sousaphone that Halloween night as my new costume biggrin
