Technologist Tony Stark You learn things when you hang out in tattoo shops. I wouldn't say that I'm scene, but I'm not about to lose any sleep over the fact that scene fashion has appropriated converse sneakers, studded belts, facial piercings, vans, and plastic framed glasses. Vans as in the mode of transportation or vans as in the shoe? I hope not because I love my vans. My friend acquires knowledge the same way. She's got an impressive amount of tattoos, and piercings ... and scarification.

The shoes, primarily of the slip on variety. I haven't gotten into scarification, but I've got a few tattoos and piercings. God I wish I could afford my Power Girl tattoo right now.

Second one will also be Dad's sixth one.

Just something we both wanted to get and my dad thought would be nice for me to design. In short it's for my mom.

Nifty, if you feel like sharing the designs you come up with I'd love to see 'em.

I don't know if anybody's posted this yet, but just in case:
[link removed]
I must warn you, they make you wait 55 minutes or get you to subscribe to watch the rest once it hits the 72 minute mark.
...
Don't get me wrong, everybody played their parts well enough, but it's movies like these why they need to make it a law to have a court-appointed Comic Book Geek at every script/production/storyboard meeting.
Why Marvel...WHY?

Why Marvel...WHY? Was just talking to Linda about this last night. I've seen it and ... well really to those here who are fans of wolverine or anyone included in this movie, don't waste your money. Really boycott it all together so Fox may hand the franchise over to Marvel Films. List of spoilers, that will be in spoilers may come soon, not sure...

Been disinterested in it for a while. Don't think I'll waste my time or money on it. Everything I've seen is disheartening.
Liev Shreiber, while not a bad actor, is not a good fit for Sabretooth. The Merc with the Mouth should probably have a mouth. Half the characters they're sticking in the movie have absolutely nothing to do with Wolverine, and are purely fanservice. Plus, the 3 X-Men movies we already got were entirely Wolverine-centric. Was a spin-off really necessary?

I can see why they couldn't bring/didn't bring/never even considered Tyler Mane back for this one, considering how dialouge-heavy Creed actually is in this movie compared to the original X-men, but what really put me off is Liev's animal run. That just looks...bleck.
But I still like Liev for this one. Could have been bigger, though.

But I still like Liev for this one. Could have been bigger, though. Well I think it was the difference between him and Wolverine that made it. The scene that points it out the most is the Vietnam back to back. Wolvie looks methodical and Sabes just looks like a monster.
But again, actors were fantastic, just the movie that was the problem.

Hmm. Maybe I'll give the screener a watch when I get home from work. Low expectations, but if I sat through Batman & Robin, I can sit through this.
I liked Tyler Mane as Sabretooth. Lots of presence, and the fight scenes looked great. I think I'm in the minority of having preferred the original to the sequel. No way they could've brought him back, though. They needed an actor for this one, not a wrestler.
