Alede OOC We all need it sometimes, trust me; we have members of our church going on mission trips to Jamaica, China and Cuba shortly. Startling torment. Kasumi yelped momentarily as she landed on the bed before she snickered. "Hmmm, I wonder how, because I have no idea," she purred, teasing Carolyn since she was pretty sure what had happened.

Lorcan groaned slightly as he knew Cassandra knew his body was becoming extremely aroused very quickly. He leaned his head back a little as Cassandra kissed his neck and along his jaw, giving him chills; he knew his hands were trailing very lightly over Cassandra's body lightly and teasingly.

Jin knew Rosalyn noticed he shivered as she leaned over him since her hand was still on his chest and upper abdomen.
Kÿos noticed the interest in Amelia's eyes and could tell she was memorizing his words. "It's sad, really... Styxx and Apostolos both had horrible lives as mortals... tormented mentally, physically, and sexually by mortals and immortals alike... all because of one goddess... our aunt Epithymia... who thought she was making it better.... when she made it much worse," he said softly. He half closed his eyes as he sighed. "Those odd deaths where people have been found drained of most of their blood, yet seem to be lacking something... more vital, are also because of her indirect actions," he said softly. He suspected Amelia and Betsy would both know about those strange deaths, as they weren't known by the public, yet there were those who knew of them extremely well.

Sren-Ko sighed softly in his sleep, preferring the dim light that streamed through the barrier that Rosalyn had put over the bassinet.

Cassandra laughed softly when she heard Lorcan's groan. It was like music to her ears. She continued to move her hands over his body, and nuzzled his neck. She took in his scent, breathing in deeply. ~~~~~~ Rosalyn looked down at Jin with a soft smile on her face. Her nails ran lightly over his chest, earning another shiver. "You are...simply amazing." She leaned down and kissed him lightly. ~~~~~~~~ Amelia's head tilted to the side slightly as she listened to Kyos. She had heard about the strange deaths, and she knew that some of her own clan had tried to figure out the deaths, but nothing had come from it. ~~~~~~~ Merida rubbed her eyes as she sat in bed. Almost as soon as she had felt the disturbance it had gone away. She knew that Constance and the others were back in the house and safe. She sighed and shook her head. "One thing after the other," she muttered under her breath.

Alede OOC Meh, that's what life does sometimes: get in the way, lol.
Naruto opened his eyes as he felt Merida shift, groaning a little. "You weren't saying that a while ago... for that matter, you weren't saying much at all... if moaning is a language," he teased Merida as he trailed his fingertips up and down her back lightly, teasing her.

Lorcan shivered lightly as he felt her hands trailing lower beneath the water, teasing his body before he felt her nuzzle his neck. "You keep that up, and I'll need a bath in the Arctic Ocean to relax," he murmured.

Jin kissed Rosalyn back gently. "Oh? What does that say for the woman who taught me to be 'amazing'?" he murmured, teasing her.
Betsy frowned. "How do you know about that? We've investigated those deaths, yet little came of them," she said carefully. Kÿos smirked ever so slightly. "Simple, because the group that polices those who committed those murders is led by Apostolos, though you won't find out much about them, as they are literal shadows. I know about them because I encountered several of the more... infamous ones, though frankly Apostolos was startled when I found out about my power to resurrect Shades into corporeal form. Shades are formed when a creature or being without a soul dies.... eternally hungry, eternally thirsty... eternally alone; they can see humanity, yet their incorporeal forms are shredded by the souls within humanity's mortal shells, Apostolos can see and sense them, yet can do little to help them," he said softly. He was giving subtle hints to the group that he'd referred to, though whether or not they'd get it was something he could see... yet chose to ignore for the moment.

Kaosujin Ryu What do you think about moving this along soon so that Constance has the babies and they defeat Rosalyn's father? Then we can start writing about the kids? Merida shivered, a small smile spreading across her face as she looked over her shoulder at Naruto. "I still don't have the correct words to describe how much you mean to me and how you make me feel." She lay back down next to him, resting her head against his shoulder. ~~~~~ "Hmm, doesn't sound like a bad idea to me." Cassandra murmured softly. ~~~~~~ "I have no idea," Rosalyn laughed softly as she rolled over so that Jin was above her. ~~~~~~~ Amelia sat in her seat quietly, listening to the two converse. A small frown appeared on her face. She did recall those murders, and had always wondered who or what had committed them. For all the powers the witches had they could not figure it out.

Kasumi snickered as Carolyn curled against her contentedly. "Damn, honey... if you were a feline, you'd look like you caught a bird or something," she teased, trailing her hand lightly up and down the other woman's back.
Naruto chuckled, cocking an eyebrow. "Gee, you're lucky I have people that can deflate a large ego," he deadpanned, joking. He knew she'd know he was referring to Kasumi... as well as his father.

Lorcan sighed, shuddering slightly as he rolled his hips slowly beneath Cassandra, his desire for her rather obvious although he was certain she knew it. "Maybe... for you," he said wryly, half teasing her.

Jin smirked ever so slightly. "A couple of the guards liked some show.... 'Charmed', I think it was called. I wonder if it's true that magic users grow stronger when they're pregnant or not," he murmured quietly; that had actually been some of the more 'friendly' guards, which is to say the few that didn't treat him like a rabid animal.
Betsy cocked her head, glancing towards the other woman who seemed to be thinking hard; intriguingly, to her, the woman's mind was a blank slate, as if she weren't there at all. Kÿos cleared his throat. "I will reveal one critical fact that was recently found by one of my contacts... who happens to be the head of this 'dark' group's second-in-command.... there is a species of Sumerian demons known as gallu... they feed exclusively on blood and their blood and saliva is infectious although certain species are immune to them, specifically Charonites," he said quietly. "Like me, Akri," a teasing voice murmured quietly as the outline of a tattoo flickered on his upper arm and shoulder.

Sren-Ko's eyes opened, looking up at the dim light streaming through the barrier; he was curious what the barrier was, but the soft silvery light that streamed through relaxed him as he shifted, rolling onto his side and falling into a light sleep.

Carolyn chuckled softly as she rested against Kasumi. They were both clearly sated and were both breathing a bit heavily. She shivered slightly as the other woman's hand trailed up and down her back. "Well I am definitely glad I caught you, and I am never letting go."~~~~~~ Merida laughed as she leaned back and kissed Naruto lightly. "I am sure I could also knock down your ego a peg or two if you get out of hand," she teased him lightly. ~~~~~~~ Cassandra couldn't help but laugh as she looked down into Lorcan's eyes. Her own shone with happiness and the promise of good things to come. ~~~~~~~
"Ah, Charmed. Yes." Rosalyn grinned. "I know of this show. Although I have never watched it. I heard others speak of it." She nuzzled Jin's neck. "I will tell you this...my powers seemed to grow when I was pregnant with Constance."~~~~~~~~ Amelia's gaze drifted over to Kyos. Beings that fed on blood and the saliva was infectious. Sounded an awful lot like vampires. She had come across one or two in her time. Some had been decent while others had tried to attack her and her kind. Supposedly a witches blood was intoxicating to them. Gave them a high.

Kasumi rolled over for a moment, well aware she surprised Carolyn with the movement before she straddled the other woman from behind and started massaging her back and shoulders in slow, teasing movements. "Does it look like I want you to? I swear... you're more fun than my brother, and he can come up with some really amusing pranks," she said with a giggle, licking behind Carolyn's earlobe deliberately.
Naruto cocked an eyebrow. "I'm sure you can... though you have a penchant for making egos shrink... and other things grow, if you know what I mean," he deadpanned with amusement.

Lorcan smirked a little. "I swear, you make me so damn strong and so weak at the same time... you make me feel things that for a long time I'd wished to feel, and they feel even better than I'd imagined," he murmured.

Jin shrugged one shoulder. "As strong as you are, that wouldn't surprise me that much... and it makes me glad I'm not one of the stupider demons that attack," he deadpanned with a chuckle.
Betsy tilted her head thoughtfully. Kÿos chuckled, cocking his head. "Where do you think those myths came from? Most referred primarily to the Daimons, cursed to feed on the souls of humans and destroying them in the process to survive, yet gallu are just as dangerous, if not more so. I know for a fact their former leader was also one of the first of their kind.... and Kessar died at my hand," he whispered to Amelia.

Kaosujin Ryu okay going for the time skip now.....we'll write a little more so they defeat the big bad...then we can skip again and say that all the couples have at least one kid? Zacarias was not too far off from the house when he felt the ripple of energy. He grimaced and shook his head. He had failed, but then he had not really tried so hard had he? He was tired of following orders. Especially ones that made absolutely no sense at all. So now he sat on a rooftop, feet dangling over the side of a the building, as he watched the safe house. ~~~~~~~ Constance was just getting up from bed when she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. She gasped and doubled over, her arm wrapped around her protruding belly. Her pregnancy had progressed at such a rapid rate. Nobody knew why and they were excited and worried at the same time. She took a sharp intake of breath as she felt a gush of something wet run down her legs. She looked down and her eyes widened. It looked as if she had peed on the floor, but she knew better. "Merrick....it's time..."~~~~~~~~ Rosalyn was smiling, holding Sren-Ko and lightly tickling him when she felt the ripple of energy flow through the house. Her head shot up and her breath caught in her throat for a moment. "Constance," she breathed softly. She knew without a doubt that the babies were ready to enter the world. She had never seen a pregnancy progress as fast as Constance's had. ~~~~~~~~~ Cassandra stood at the bathroom mirror, towel wrapped around her when she felt it. The pulse of power that went through the house was unmistakable. She had felt it many times before with other witches who had given birth. The towel disappeared from around her and was replaced by jeans a tshirt. She hurried from the bathroom. "Lorcan, it's time."~~~~~~~~~ Merida was snuggled close to Naruto when it hit. She sat up quickly in bed, pushed hair from her face. A sudden and powerful rush of energy had just gone through the house. She knew without being told what it was. ~~~~~~~~~ Carolyn was about to take a bite of a sandwich when she felt it. The power that swept past her and throughout the entire house was enormous. She had never experienced it before, but she had heard how a burst of power could be felt when a witch was about to give birth. Any time any of the witches had gone into labor at her coven, she had always been out and about. ~~~~~~~~~ Amelia was brushing out her hair, sitting in front of her vanity mirror when she felt it. The power was much greater than anything she had felt before. She carefully set down her brush and stood up. Her mind reached out to Cassandra and Rosalyn, urging them to join her at Constance's room. No doubt the young woman would want her mother, and Cassandra would help with healing while Amelia helped to birth the child. "Kyos, the ladies and I have some work to do....would you keep the other men occupied?" she looked over at him.

Alede OOC Sure, that sounds fine with me. Kasumi cocked her head, blinking as the energy surge was roughly equal to a four tailed Kitsune, roughly half as strong as Naruto's strength... in number of tails... in true power terms, however, it wasn't anywhere near that level. Considering the bloodlines, however, the children will be extremely strong, she thought.
Naruto cocked his head as Merida sat up as if stung. "Damn, that was strong," he muttered.

Merrick nodded slightly, carefully lifting Constance into his arms as he flickered out of sight, materializing in the birthing room. "I have Constance in the birthing room," he muttered telepathically, transmitting it to all of the witches in the safe house.
Lorcan blinked a couple of times before he stood, nodding slightly as he stood, the towel dropping from his lean hips and exposing his body before the air rippled around him to reveal his clothes, a pair of loose, slightly baggy dark gray sweatpants and a black tee shirt and dark violet vest with an entwined rose crown on the head of a skull between his shoulders. It showed that, to him, Cassandra was first to him... like a queen, as well as paying homage to both of their covens.

Jin shrugged one shoulder. "I think I'll find Vega, if he's around... I want a good brawl," he said with mild amusement.
Betsy blinked as she felt a psionic shudder surge through the astral plane. Kÿos chuckled. "Jin already has something he's going to do, and I think I can keep the guys occupied well enough," he said with amusement.

Mai cocked her head, hovering behind Zacharias. "Subtle, aren't they?" she said dryly, sarcasm dripping from her voice; she'd been a third of the way around the planet when she'd sensed the energy surge from the oncoming birth. Her spiky blond hair hung down her back and her leanly muscled frame was strong and extremely beautiful.
Sren-Ko giggled, both from Rosalyn tickling him and sensing the oncoming birth. "Baby?" he said with a smirk.

Zacarias didn't even bother to turn and look at Mai. "It is always so when someone or someones of great power are about to be born. A rift is created for the briefest of seconds, allowing others of power to know that another powerful being is coming into the world."~~~~~~ Constance held on tightly to Merrick as they disappeared from their room and to the birthing room. Another contraction hit her causing her to gasp and bite her lip. She had never felt this type of pain before. It was intense and rippled through her for nearly twenty seconds before dissipating. As Merrick lay her down on the bed she held onto his hand tightly, breathing as she been shown to by her mother and Amelia. They said it would help with the pains. Gods she hoped that they were right. Her eyes flickered to the side as both Amelia and Cassandra appeared in the room. Soon after that Rosalyn appeared as well, but without the little boy she often kept so close to her. ~~~~~~ Rosalyn looked over at Jin and nodded. She then turned her gaze to Sren-Ko and smiled. "Yes, babies." She said softly. She needed to be in the room with her daughter. She looked gratefully to Carolyn as the elder witch appeared and offered to take care of Sren-Ko while Rosalyn went to Constance. She gave the little boy a quick kiss on the head before handing him. When she arrived at the birthing room she saw that Amelia and Cassandra already there. When she saw Constance's questioning look she smiled. "Carolyn is taking care of him."~~~~~~ Cassandra smiled at Lorcan, loving the outfit he was wearing. She loved anything that he wore, but the symbology of what was on his clothes warmed her heart. In a flash she was one and in the birthing room with the others. She saw the strained look on Constance's face and the way she was gripping Merrick's hand. "I'll help with the pain as much as I can," Cassandra said softly as she walked forward and placed a hand lightly on Constance's arm. ~~~~~~~ "Very powerful," Merida murmured as she stood up from the bed, the sheets falling to the floor around her. She turned back to Naruto as a long, blood red dress appeared on her body. "I must go." She leaned down and kissed him before promptly disappearing from the room. ~~~~~~~~
"Here, I will watch him," Carolyn said as she appeared by Rosalyn and took the baby boy from her arms. While she too wanted to be in the birthing room with the others she knew it would get crowded quickly. Amelia would be there to birth the child, Cassandra would be there for healing and Rosalyn would be there because this was her daughter. Carolyn would make herself useful by taking care of this little bundle of joy. ~~~~~~~~ Amelia smiled gratefully at Kyos before she disappeared to the birthing room. She moved closer to Constance. "Honey, I need you to put your feet in the stirrups here. I need to check how dilated you are." She said softly. Amelia waited until Constance had moved and Cassandra laid a hand on the young woman's arm. Taking a deep breath she examined the other room. Before coming here she had cleaned up and sterilized everything she would need. "Already at a seven. This may not take long at all."

Kasumi giggled as she materialized behind Constance, rubbing her shoulders to help her relax as she pulsed light touches of healing energy through the woman that would dull the pain and help her relax until the time came to push.
Naruto winked, amused as Merida flickered away before he settled into a lotus position and drifted into a deep meditative trance.

Merrick chuckled a little, amused, though he exhaled slowly, feeling the tremendous strength in Constance's grip.
Lorcan exhaled as he went onto the roof, blinking as he noticed within the greenhouse quite a few flowers blooming; he decided to indulge himself and prepare a few surprises for the parents-to-be.

Jin chuckled a little as he vaulted out of the window, landing lightly on the balls of his feet.
Kÿos spoke from behind Zacharias and Mai both. "I know precisely what you mean, though in my case... it wasn't when I was born that the rift flared to life... it was when I was reborn into my true nature," he said bluntly. He remembered it extremely well.

Mai cocked her head as she glanced over her shoulder, blinking. She saw what seemed to be a normal man, yet her other senses screamed that it was no human man she was looking at, and his odd swirling navy-teal-indigo irises unnerved her. "What is that supposed to mean?" she said bluntly.
Sren-Ko cocked his head, looking at Carolyn thoughtfully. "'Sune?" he said, trying to say 'Kitsune' in reference to Kasumi, but unable to do so. "Baby?" he said, subtly asking Carolyn if she hoped to have Kasumi's child... or perhaps the other way around.

Zacarias did turn his gaze to the newcomer. He had caught glimpses of him with the record keeping witch. He could feel the power coming from this man as well. Well he wasn't exactly a man. Zacarias had met a few Gods in his time and he was quiet adept at recognizing one. These witches had some very powerful friends. "Come to keep an eye?" He asked evenly as his gaze went back to the safe house. The pain from the contractions passed nearly instantly with both Kasumi and Cassandra pushing healing energy into her. She knew that she had been squeezing Merrick's hand rather hard and she gave him an apologetic smile as she loosened her grip slightly. Her gaze flickered over when another person appeared. She smiled, grateful for Merida's presence. She had always been a mother figure to her. When Amelia told her to push Constance did, her face scrunching up as she gasped. Even with both Kasumi and Cassandra helping her, she felt the pain. Cassandra looked to Kasumi and smiled, giving her a small nod. She was grateful for the help. It would keep her mind as free as possible. Once Constance began pushing Cassandra would heal the young woman in her way, going into the other woman's body to make sure nothing was amiss. Merida stood at the side of the bed next to Rosalyn. She could still feel the power pulsing off of Constance. The children were going to be strong...very strong. It was no wonder the demons were after them. She let out a deep breath. Rosalyn glanced over at Merida as the other woman appeared. When she saw the breath she let out, she touched Merida's arm softly. "She'll be okay. We are all here to help her with this."Amelia checked Constance again and was surprised with how fast this was progressing. She had attended many births and none had gone so quickly. "Okay Constance. You need to get ready to push. Remember deep breaths. When I tell you to push, you push." She glanced over her shoulder at Rosalyn and Merida. "I will need your help when the babies come out. Make sure you have towels ready to clean them up and make sure their mouths and noses are clear." She watched as the two nodded and each grabbed a towel to be ready. Amelia turned her gaze back to Constance. "Okay Constance. Push now."~~~~~~~ Carolyn's head tilted to the side slightly as she looked down at the little boy. Everyone in the house had gotten used to how advanced he was in his development. They could easily understand what he meant when he spoke too. She smiled softly and nodded. "I certainly hope so," she said softly. She had never thought of herself as a mother, but things had changed to make her see things differently.

Kasumi chuckled. "This method was one my father used; it helps to keep the blood loss down and numbs the pain receptors; she'll definitely be sore, though, for obvious reasons," she said with a slight smile.
Naruto was in a deep trance, a faint pale reddish orange-gold aura swirling around him from his aura being focused densely within him. He doubted Merida knew that his true power was rivaled by only two others in the Shinto pantheon... his father and sister.

Merrick winked as Constance began to push, amused in spite of himself. "Come on, honey; it's almost done," he said softly.

Kÿos cocked an eyebrow slightly. "If I really felt the need to 'keep an eye', you wouldn't know it until it was too late," he deadpanned, seeming amused. "It's rather amusing to see that humans unknowingly are right when they claim there are 'other places'... places where choices made altered everything," he said with a shrug.

Mai snorted, looking back towards the safe house.
Sren-Ko giggled as he snuggled against Carolyn. Unnoticed, his palm pressed against the elder's abdomen before he blinked a few times as if surprised. "Baby," he breathed, surprised; he wasn't sure how, but he could sense the energy within the unborn.

Kaosujin Ryu I have a name for the baby girl if you want to pick one out for the boy...and I guess we should decide what the others are gonna have too... xD Zacarias shrugged his shoulders slightly as his gaze narrowed on the safe house. He felt it...he knew when the first child was officially born into this world. "Baby number one," he murmured. ~~~~~~ Constance breathed in and out deeply, pushing when Amelia told her to do so. It came as a surprise, and she gasped, when she felt the baby slide free and heard a faint cry. Constance's breath caught in her throat as the two babies were brought to her and placed into her arms. She looked down at the babies with tears of happiness in her eyes. "Merrick....they're so beautiful.""There we go, a beautiful baby boy," Amelia said as she cleared the nose and mouth. She cut the umbilical cord and handed the boy to Rosalyn. "Okay Constance the next one is coming close behind this one. I can already see the crown of the baby's head." It didn't take long after that for the second baby to be born. "And now we have a beautiful baby girl," Amelia said as she handed the girl off to Merida. She looked to Cassandra and nodded. Rosalyn took the baby, wrapping him in the towel she had as she continued to clear out his nose and mouth. The boy looked up at her, focusing so unlike a newborn child. She smiled as she looked down at him. Merida took the little girl, wrapping her up tightly. She had her mother's eyes and like her brother focused with such amazing accuracy. She cooed at the baby with a smile on her face. Cassandra had a huge smile on her face as the two babies were born. When Amelia nodded to her she closed her eyes and sent herself seeking into Constance's body. Luckily for her she didn't have to do much. It seemed as if the woman's body was already beginning to heal itself. She healed the rest and withdrew. "There we go. We are good."
~~~~~ Carolyn looked at the boy in surprise and then at her stomach. Could he be right? Could she actually be pregnant? She held the little boy close, her mind drifting off at the idea of a baby growing inside of her.
