Should you look at the cause, you will find that Lasai'ei is now hitching a ride by holding onto Mihi'o ankles.
Manra:
"What the—?!" Rai'o shouts.
Before you can figure out what he's freaked out about, you find yourselves running through a giant hole in the mountain!
"Lasai'ei..." Rai'o grumbles.
Moriah:
It doesn't take you long to figure it out. However, by the time you do, Mashai'i and Nashai'o have shot past you.

I power on, trying to squeeze out as much speed as possible until I get out of the mountain, in which I either keep this for or go back to drilling, whichever is faster.

Manra:
"For him?" Rai'o roars. "Yes."
Everyone:
Fifteen minutes later, Lasai'ei has proved victorious through his childish manner of cheating. Moriah had managed to get both Rings to work together just right, but she still only came in third, after Atlanta and Mihi'o. Fi'hai was just behind Moriah, then Mashai'i and Nashai'o, and finally Rai'o and Manra and Shitai'ei. After Lasai'ei gloats for a minute, Rai'o knocks him onto his a** and roars at him about his stupidly childish manners. However, Lasai'ei changes the subject to how you'll cross the Ocean Legion's territory. You all realize that the Ocean Legion curves around, which was why you had to cross it to get to the castle...

"Hmm, and here I thought you were able to warp reality!" I say. I walk up to the water's edge, raising both my hands skyward, both rings glowing with power. I command the nearby trees to form into a ship, my green ring amplified by the indago one.

Once the race is over, Manra gently gets down from Rai'o's back and sits down on the ground, school-girl fashion before she hears Moriah talk about Lasei'ai warping reality. She lets a soft smile curve her lips. "No, that's Rai'o and my specialty," Manra pipes up at Moriah.

I pant heavily, but look up in awe of my new creation. A strange surge of pride welled from me, being able to execute such a feat. I try my best to pick myself up, but the best I manage is to get up on all fours. "There... is your ship. It... should be able to take us far..." I say, my exhaustion clear in my voice.

I let out a threatening hiss at Lasai'ei. "On the contrary. I can take losses fairly easily. And that WOULD be the case right now if you hadn't CHEATED. Here's lesson one in your schooling: Cheating at friendly games and competitions will lead to sore feelings and lack of trust among you and your peers. That will lead to lack of organization and poor teamwork. You want us to trust you? Then GIVE us a reason to trust you. Lesson two: Just because you demand something doesn't mean you shall automatically recieve. Some things you have to EARN. And, this goes back to the previous lesson, cheating to get it doesn't mean you've EARNED it. It means you have stolen what you wanted. And lesson three: There is no honor in under-handed tactics. Without honor, you're just another piece of trash." With that, I walk away to let my words (hopefully) sink in.
