Eh. Well I dont think that one like 8 gates would be accepted, ebcause thats sort of how my character is completely based on. Raw taijutsu power used chaotically. >>
I made him to be a superpower in close combat. Doton jutsu for defense. 8 Tails for the dead strength to increase the power even more. Then the 8 gates would just make him 100% badass in close combat. :/
And I feel that if I made any thats based on a modifier like 8 gates then I would just be copying, etc. O:

Create a 8 gates knock-off call it Inner Elixir or something. Use your imagination Wood, you are a megaten nut after all.

I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I am of the impression that the leaf eight gates style is just that. The leaf version. If those gates exist in everyone, then I highly doubt the only people to discover them were konoha taijutsu specialists. Just develop a new style using the gates, and see if you can get it through.
Or, if you wanted to be super special awesome, you could make a system for the gates and see if that can be implemented. Kakashi used the gates for a minor power boost once, so I don't see why it should be limited to that one style.

I just made an RPC and messed up. Would it be possible to change his profession from assassin to ninjutsu specialist? I haven't used it yet, but after rping with him i realized that he wouldnt be the stealth type... If i can't i would have to alter his personality a bit. while i can do that i would prefer not to if i dont have to.
also do you need to be a taijutsu specialist to create a taijutsu?
If I can create a taijutsu style, is someone willing to help me make a good one?

Since you are an academy student, I would not personally have any problem with you changing your profession Making customs has nothing to do with your characters, so of course you may.

2. No, but depending on your class you might be only able to 2,1, or 0 It's custom so doesnt count for your number learned *plots* XD
3. I can help, i've made anywhere from 3 taijutsu and 4 weapon styles and Gentle Fist specialist. But again only if you want it mrgreen

@Wood: Oh no no no. We've already had too many people try to make 8 gate varitations, they arent allowed anymore.

Just because it is WITHIN soeone doesnt mean they know how to utilize it. Each village has its own taijutsu style to give the villages a bit more originality, as well as the fact that some could be considered village secrets. Mist has Silent Blade, Sand has Desert Fist, Rock has Flaming Muay Thai, Cloud has megnetic touch, and Leaf has Eight Gates.
We've had too many people make variations of eight gates. It was Lance himself who said that no more eight gates knockoffs would be allowed.

What about just making a system for the gates, rather than a taijutsu style? It seems beyond illogical to me to think that nobody else figured out how to harness that power. The style is obviously Konoha's, but the gates are in everyone, so there would definitely be more people who could figure out how to use them.

Have you noticed that each of those have something to do with the village, whereas the 8 gates is something that could fit any village?
Perhaps something that actually has to dow ith fire would fit better as the country of fires main taijutsu, eh?

Hinote, can you point to anyone outside of the Hidden Leaf who showed any kind of ability to tap into the eight gates? I don't recall ever seeing anyone outside of that village do so, even some of the shinobi that were supposed to be very powerful. I mean the Raikage, who was some kind of taijutsu specialist did not show any ability to do so, instead he used raiton chakra to enhance his ability to attack. Maybe the other villages do not in fact have ways to tap into the eight gates, simply because they pursued other, less dangerous, ways of enhancing their natural abilities. Unlocking the eight gates is not practiced by many shinobi because it is quite dangerous to do so.
The main point however is that I've seen too many variants of the eight gates, and if there are ten different styles to unlock the eight gates that destroys the purpose of the style.

And what's the big deal about this 8 gates thing anyway? Why don't people just make their own styles that are epic?
We should really have the 8 gates be a reserved for a bushy brow clan xD
