Surprised at how fast Ryka had appeared he hid his arm behind his back. "Hey Ryka. I-I'm fine." He stammered sheepishly. I don't want them to worry for my own stupid mistake. He shifted as if waiting for something. He winced a few times as the rain soaked his band stinging his wound. He tried each time to hide the pain, but failed miserably. He hoped she wouldn't worry although it was painfully obvisous that it did hurt.

"Ryka, could I get you to..." Kasiya trailed off as she stepped outside to find Ryka missing. "Where did she go?" she asked, peering through the rain. "Great time to run off," she muttered to herself and went back inside, as the kettle was nearing ready.

"So you fell?" Ryka assumed. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asked again, as she could see him wincing. "Why don't you come on the porch?" She said as she pulled him towards it. " Kassie is inside, if you need her. I think she's making hot chocolate."
Ryka poked her head inside the house. "Hey, Kassie? Seth is here." She said softly. She tried not to mension that he was hurt, for he seemed to want to hide it. She turned back towards Seth, and again asked. "That arm must hurt. What are you going to do about it?"

"So you caught me," he admitted. "It does hurt but, please don't tell Kasiya." He looked down, wincing once more as rainwater hit his wound. "I can't object to that," he said as she pulled him to the house. "I don't know," he admitted, shifting his arm behind his back to conceal the covered wound.

"I won't tell her," Ryka replied, "but you're going to need to wrap that up or something. It looks like it's getting worse." She stated while looking at the wound. I wonder why he's trying to hide it from us..

Kael panted softly as he ran towards the end of trainer hill.
"Almost there."
Beside him Chansey quickly ran, sweating and looking around frantically. THe tow had just battled a very powerful Alakazam and had one only because of luck. Chansey's metronome produced a SAcred Fire attack defeating the Alakazam in one hit. THey were now runnig towards the end of Trainer Hill.
"WE're almost there Chansey"
Chansey grinned and nodded. At only a few more feet away from the finish line an ARbok jumped out baring its fangs.
"CHansey use Doubleslap!"
THe POkemon jumped towards Arbok, hitting the Arbok multiple times. THe ARbok opened its mouth firing Poison Sting from its mouth. THe attack hit Chansey in the chest and it flies into Kael, knocking him down.
"Dang it. Withjout MUnchlax this looks hopeless. Chansey use Softboiled!. Why didnt I think of that before?"
Chansey's pouch glowed and out came a lrage pink egg. She devoured it and her wounds dissapeared and she looked very much rejuvenated.
"Yes, alright Chansey let's finish this with pound!"
She sprang into the air and landed on the Arbok. It fell over, knocked out.
"See, I told you your chunkiness would be useful."
Chansey turned around its eyes flaring.
"Sorry, sorry..."
THe pair jumped over the finsih line jumping into the air and throwing their arms in the air.
"Yes,we finished!"

He let out a sigh, wether it was a sigh of relief or something else he couldn't tell. I'm going to blow it. It's probably best if I just gave Ryka the money and left . . . "Thanks," he said quitely after a moment of silence betweeen the two. "Maybe it is, you don't need to worry for my mistake though." Seth gave a reassuring smile, the smile, however, was fake. He sighed once more.

Kasiya peered out the door again, and was relieved to see Ryka and Seth coming up the driveway. They were talking quietly to themselves as they walked, and Kasiya waited on the steps to greet them. "You guys had me worried for a second," she smiled, ushering them up the stairs and into the house. "Hurry up and get warm, you don't want to catch a cold."

Kael grinned stretching on his beach towel. He was laying on the beach of a shimmering lakeon the route from Mauville to Verdanturf.
"Ahhh. This is the life."
HE took a sip of his rasberry smoothie.
"Isn't that right guys?"
Chansey and MUnchlax grinned. MUnchlax was swimming, while Chansey sunbathed.
"We deserve a rest after spending a day and a half in that blasted Trainer Hill."
Chansey nodded.
"Channnnnsssey."
He grinned again, as he looked at his Pokenav.
"It's the fourth, the contest is on the eighth. After a good night's rest, we'll head too Verdanturf and woop some butt at the Contest"

Ryka decided to stop the conversation, for it seemed to make Seth uncomfortable. They were coming into Kasiya's hearing range, anyway. Ryka looked back up at her and smiled back. "Sorry for running off so soon, but I saw Seth coming up the road." Ryka explained. She looked back over at Seth and smiled as if their previous conversation never happened.

Kael frowned and winced, standing up and pulling Chansey and Munchlax into their respective Pokeballs.
"Ugh, my back. Should've worn sunscreen."
He shook his head and pulled on his shirt and swung his backpack onto his shoulder, wincing again.
"Let's see, cross a couple more hills and I think I'll be there."
He began walking up the nearest hill. When he reached the top, his mouth gaped open. A field of red and blue roses covered the next several miles. Floating above them, were congregations of Volbeat and Illumise. His eyebrow arched.
"What in the?"
The bug pokemon seemed to be dropping like leaves. Every few seconds there was a burst of light and another one would drop.
"Thoses arent roses..."
He walked closer, seeing that the "rose field" was actually hundreds of Roselia. And their eyes were open. Hundreds of gleaming red and purple eyes immediately glared at him. The rose Pokemon held up their arms, absorbing sunlight. His eyes widened.
"Go, Chansey!"
The Pokemon appeared and gaped.
"Let's go, use Metronome!"
Chansey began to dance and balls of turquoise flamesbegan to fly about it.

The flames launched themselves at the Roselia, orbitng around them and burning them.
"Good a Will-o-Wisp. Let's try it again!"
Again Chansey danced, this time a blast of water erupted from her mouth blasting Roselia.
"It's no good. There are just too many."
AS he was about to turn around, a call was heard from the sky.
Above a Skarmory and its rider swooped down Steel Winging their way through the Roselia. They pulled quickly out of thir dive and headed up. The Skarmory opened it's mouth and a burst of orange light cut through the deadly rose field. The Roselia, realizng they couldnt possibly win began to move, leaving trails of petals and spores where they had been. The man and his Skarmory hovered above them. The rider grinned, nodding his head and flying away.
"Who was that?"

"Hey Kasiya." Seth said, his voice now held fatigue. The trio walked up onto the porch of Kasiya's house. Seth jammed his hands into his ivory bag. After the rain began he quickly moved her money into the waterproof bag that slung loosely around his waist. The wound, after being exposed and hit by the rainwater stung even worse, much worse. He winced, this time he grabbed his wounded arm the contents of his bag fell out, well most of it anyhow. Three of his Pokeballs fell out along with his Pokenav, and some spare bandages, and medicine.
The wristband was throughly soaked and caked in crimson colored blood. With his good arm he held his wounded left arm as if pressure would help lessen the pain. His cover was blown. He gave a weak smile to the two girls not sure of what to do.

Kasiya knelt down next to Seth, her face overcome with worry. "You're hurt," she said, taking his arm and gently pulling him to his feet. "I'll get you cleaned up, you don't want it getting infected. Ryka, would you mind picking those things up for him?" she said, and winked. "I'll give you extra marshmallows for it." She led him towards the kitchen, hoping the first aid kit was still in the same place it had always been.

Keegan rode for a while, then stopped to set up camp. Feeling hungry and tired, Vulpix circled their campfire, sniffing at everything in sight. "I still don't know where we're going to go," he said, peeling an apple with his pocket knife. Vulpix dashed over, and started eating the peel, making delighted cries as he did so. The two soon fell asleep, their first days on the road taking their toll already.
