TweedleKeys Monty Oum stuff is fun. I should go looking for the HQ of the second Dead Fantasy. I do wonder where he's going though... he has plenty more FF girls to add but is quickly running out of DoA ones that would have the same impact. Now, if he extended the dead part to all fighting games... I'd say to go for Dead Fantasy Gear, but I dunno how he'd do Guilty Gear in 3D. ...Even if Dizzy or Justice would massively balance the scales against Plot Rinoa.

Lurking CD in 04 and some 05, thanks to you, I think up Invisibles, Transmet(although I've always been a bit curious as to what it was about) and I think I started Preacher because of you too. You just spoke so highly of them that I had to check them out. Thanks! surprised
I've been trying to keep tabs on just how viral I've been with Transmetropolitan so that I can send Ellis a bill for my royalties, but I'm still pretty shocked and humbled by how influential I am over there. Every once in a while I get a PM or a shout out from someone saying "Oh I read x,y, and z because of what you said here or there." Maybe because I'm the noisiest or I'm the best at tarting up my reccomendations, but there's several people whose taste I trust a lot more than mine (Celaeno, Giabrenna/Wally_West, Pinderpanda).
More people should be asking Skizz what to read, I think. I've had precisely no influence on her reading habits that I'm aware of, and yet she's been plowing through the seminal stuff at a breakneck pace; this coming from the guy who went on a Morrison binge for the ages and is the first known survivor of the Invisibles/Promethea speedball. I could never have attempted The Invisibles at age sixteen. I would have washed out by issue three and have only picked it up because of the pretty grenade on the cover. I was reading my first Vertigo comic when I was sixteen and that was Y: The Last Man, the first time since Archie that I wasn't reading a comic for tits, spandex, or tits in spandex. But hell, any moment before Halloween 2005 would have been too early for me to indulge in The Invisibles. It bloody chose me.

Oh Skizz. If you were of date-able age it's fairly easy to pick them apart. Northstar wouldn't even look at you and Nightwing would be the equivalent of your sex buddy. ...but I thought she was of date-able age. Dear god gonk
May be absent from AG for awhile. It currently is taking vicodin to be able to pull five minutes of sitting upright to get on the computer. Otherwise everything hurts too much.
At least I'm getting some nifty time to settle into Moll Flanders. Personally I'd just prefer to re-read Moby d**k or start into the next volume of .hack//GU, but.... hey, getting my higher-level lit class reading done ahead of time seems like a nice idea, since I'm trapped on a couch and TV's starting to get boring. At least then all I'll have left is the lower-level reading... a.k.a. the stuff you don't really have to pay attention to. 4laugh
*toddles back downstairs so the pain will go away*
