Considering the show got picked up for three more seasons post-FIRE, and an on the street interview with one of the head writers indicated the possibility of a fourth book in the current vein after the reaction to the Avatar Week. Anything is possible. There are rumors of three mini-movies that may or may not relate to the current story, but it's not done yet by a bit.

Con stuff: Looking at the schedule... So, I probably can't go to the Avatar panel because I have not gotten to the ending yet. During the Avatar panel is the Gaia panel but I doubt anyone else I know is going... I guess dinner it is!

Also, I totally realized too late it was the big 20th anniversary for Street Fighter. I've always wanted to be Chun Li and this would have been the perfect opportunity. (I thought about it but I couldn't get boots like hers in time.) Then again, it would have been intimidating with all the other awesome Chun Li cosplayers out there.

Event stuff: Man, I'm having a hard time loading the site at all and I still don't get any messages from the Faun.. Also, I completely suck at day 2 events. I hate shooting things, half the combinations in the 'use buttons to run game' don't work for me and randomly I'll be given the lowest possible score even if it does seem like I did well.

I saw several.

The fact that there was no build up to Azula going batshit crazy was the worst part in my opinion. It was like the creators just went: "Okay, she's insane starting right......now!" Doing that made it feel incredibly rushed and like it wasn't paced very well. I don't mind that they made her go crazy but if they'd started hinting at it maybe three episodes prior, it would have been more believable.

That and the lionturtle was much too convenient.

....I could go on about a few other things as well, but I'll just stop there.

Eh, personally I saw both of those as excellent bits of storytelling, because Azula's always been a bit of a nutter, though I'll admit that her descent into madness was probably rushed, and the other a slow build up that suddenly tied every single bending origin together. It also pushed a kind of 'Supreme Path' mentality, as, at least, the past three Avatars carried serious regrets about their (in)actions. Aang simply took the hidden path that had always been there, but no one had taken the time to notice. That and the lionturtle's been a reoccurring image throughout the entire show, and the symbolism that exists simply within the name makes it roughly the Immortal King of all Bending Creatures.

Of course, people are going to see things differently, and I really can't think of any show that's ever gone off with everyone saying, "Well, I'm happy with that."

I am full of Durem team spirit.....evn if I do kinda suck at these games big time.
