Joasis LunaInverse So, I was returning to my program after dropping a client off at the hospital (she was going into labor), and as I walk up the walkway to the main door, I see something in the entranceway. At first, I thought it was a plastic bag, and kept on walking. And then I saw it move. I paused and looked again. It was a skunk... eek I backed away, all the while muttering "ok, maybe I should go around the back and go in that way...oh, wait...skunks hang out back there, too..." Finally, the skunk left and waddled into the bushes. I ran to the door and let myself in, almost tripping out of my sandals.
I saw a big one a few weeks back while I was jogging along a levee without street lights. I stopped running, tiptoed around the opposite side of the street he was at and tried my best not to frighten him. I thought about turning back but I was too far along and I'd never make it. My best bet was to keep running after I got some distance, the last thing I want is to be mauled by a rabid beast only to be sprayed by its scent as an ultimate humiliation. Well...unless said rabid beast was a hot chick in which case I'd wear her skunk scent proudly! 4laugh The skunk was back last night. The little bugger is getting waaaay to comfortable around the entranceway. If I get sprayed, someone's going to get it... evil

I have obtained Wifi again on my DS. ;__; But now no one else plays Pokemon anymore.
Edit: Other news, that doujinshi project I'm working on? So far the uhm, responses have been lackluster because it's YGO lacking slash. No one wants to read it because it doesn't have buttsex... emo God I hate the fans so much.
Regardless of it having giant robots, blowing s**t up, blowing people up, battles, boobs (lots and lots of them), no dueling (but the monsters lending themselves well for robot designs), characters from the spin-offs (including R), and action.
I even told a friend of mine who asked further some of the relationships that are going to build and the main one, and they were like "Len, that's complete s**t. I won't read it because I don't like that you've paired him up heterosexually."
*twitch*
So, I came here to wonder if I can get what you guys think about it, because I'm obviously getting no where on people who care about the series.
I don't particularly care, but some of our writers won't budge their ******** a** if they know that no one would give a s**t for her hard work.

Some people just don't learn.
I'm involved with another forum (BUT I'M NOT LEAVING YOU GUYS FOR THEM BECAUSE YOU'RE MY FIRST LOVE I PROMISE), and someone started a really trolly thread. So obviously so. But instead of really just ignoring it, the boardies decided to feed the troll until it went away. It turned out being a slightly funny thread, but more or less annoying that they just couldn't stop feeding the troll and pic spamming until they got the hint.
Although pretty stupid on the troll's part for IMing other members of the board to tell them that they were trolling. rolleyes While obvious, really stupid.
It probably called for a DON'T FEED THE TROLL image at some point, but the elitism there is just as bad as Gaia elitism, so I didn't want to be the newbie telling them to lay off the troll, even if they were not really being that serious.
Whatevs, s'not my fault I like netiquette.

Sounds like you added in most everything that the original was lacking. I dunno though, I would say that I'd abandon working on derivative works if the audience for them isn't going to be receptive. Then again, fan stuff will never really get you the compensation or credit you deserve.

It's hard to put the time in it if you don't enjoy it. When you enjoy it, it doesn't matter that it's not that popular. Sadly I don't know what to do so much if your writer enjoys the feedback the most. Maybe she should leave and cede the project to people who still want to work on it? I think that these things will find their audience. Sure you won't have as many people responding as if you had a slash pairing in there... but you might also inspire others to create works like these too. Just keep plugging along with those of you who are still into it and don't sweat it.

New Batman cartoon=Got! 4laugh
I bought a copy of Gotham Knight today, it's so kick a** and awesome. 6 interlocking stories from 6 different directors and art styles, including one in 3D, not only was it worth the months of waiting, it was worth the 15 bucks I paid for it. (But uh...I didn't fork over that 25 for that 2 disc set. <.<) I'd tell you the stories but I don't want to ruin the surprise.

Oh yeah...I suppose I could take the spider out, but I need to get new sig pictures together first. sweatdrop

I bought a copy of Gotham Knight today, it's so kick a** and awesome. 6 interlocking stories from 6 different directors and art styles, including one in 3D, not only was it worth the months of waiting, it was worth the 15 bucks I paid for it. D: Hah, I think that message should be for the both of us =P I'm not by much right now 'cause of my research, and she's got her full-time job plus she's moving out in two weeks. It's mostly for fun. None of us really want to get paid for it, just doing it because we can. We were also annoyed by the lack of good mecha AU that wasn't a parody of Code Geass (and no, those aren't good either)tweedlekeys I think the important thing is to work on what you enjoy. We're hoping for a public release somewhere in December.
