So, I was returning to my program after dropping a client off at the hospital (she was going into labor), and as I walk up the walkway to the main door, I see something in the entranceway. At first, I thought it was a plastic bag, and kept on walking.
And then I saw it move. I paused and looked again. It was a skunk...
eek
I backed away, all the while muttering "ok, maybe I should go around the back and go in that way...oh, wait...skunks hang out back there, too..."
Finally, the skunk left and waddled into the bushes. I ran to the door and let myself in, almost tripping out of my sandals.

Post-con backlog time! Kinetic Dream First week get btw cool Love my gym job. Still waiting on the supermarket job to start, but there's already been a bit of conflict, since I'm trying to tell them I can't work on Sunday (Kaiser's having his Eagle Scout ceremony and I'm having a massive role in it), and the woman I spoke to said she couldn't do anything because the schedule was in place on Wednesday, and the scheduler wasn't around. So I get to go down this afternoon when it goes up, and chew someone out if I'm up for Sunday. Kaiser got Eagle? Awesome. Tell him congrats for me. I know how hard it is to get. XD

Skizzors Zelyhon Skizzors Oh! But speaking of gratuitous violence and screenings at panels I'm actually too young to go to? GANTZ IS AWESOME. heart heart heart Manga or anime? Either way, yeah, it's a pretty good series. I'm enjoying it enough to keep up with the manga, however slowly it might seem to go sometimes. XD Anime. I might start the manga too though. I watched the first disc or two of the anime. I enjoyed it, but I personally am following the manga more than it. I have other DVDs higher on the to-buy list at the moment. Although, now that the manga's coming out in the US, you might want to go ahead and start following it too.

As with almost all things, I much prefer the manga. I'm waiting for "Gantz 2" to queue up a couple volumns before I start reading it since Gantz is overly fond of the cliffhangers. I'm just putting them on my hold list at the local comic store, since they give me a discount (and $13-14 is a bit more than I'd like to pay, if I can avoid it. XD)

Jackie-senpai Zelyhon Jackie-senpai Rae x Rae Hey guys, I'm inviting a really good friend of mine and Era's to AG. I don't think it'll be a problem - she's pretty awesome, and Zero also thinks she'd fit in pretty well. *Feels like being a rebel* No! No I wont! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME BE A SHEEP!!!! scream xd I can. It just takes a little genetic splicing and presto! Sheep Jackie. Incidentally, welcome. Blood and tissue samples are deposited on your left. gonk Well.....only if you make me a clone too...I've always wanted a clone. heart That's what the required blood and tissue samples were for. Around here, death is common enough to just keep the vats running constantly to keep up with new cloned body demand.

I was actually at the panel where they made the announcements. I thought it was absolutely hilarious, asthe room was packed full of squealing fangirls who almost went into fits at the very mention of the characters or the voice actors' names, exactly like the squealing fangirls the show makes so much fun of. I wonder if they understood the irony? xd

Those damn skunks always stink up the area around our program. I just REALLY didn't want to get sprayed by a skunk, since I STILL had another 8 hours left on my shift. And I'm cynical enough to believe that my supervisors wouldn't let me go home and de-stink myself until AFTER my shift was over with. crying

So I made my friend who couldn't go to AX very, very happy surprised
We ran into David Hayter in the Artist's Alley and he seemed pretty amused to sign a grocery reciept for me to send him.
Also, at Keys: Apparently the Yu Yu Hakusho role that Hayter had was Kurama in the YYH: The Movie.

Whew back finally smile
It was great seeing people though I was running around mostly and madly doing random stuff and got caught up on the way to the Gaia panel (though I caught half of it)
Rae: Thanks for the heads up on Hayter's voice. smile

I saw a big one a few weeks back while I was jogging along a levee without street lights. I stopped running, tiptoed around the opposite side of the street he was at and tried my best not to frighten him. I thought about turning back but I was too far along and I'd never make it. My best bet was to keep running after I got some distance, the last thing I want is to be mauled by a rabid beast only to be sprayed by its scent as an ultimate humiliation. Well...unless said rabid beast was a hot chick in which case I'd wear her skunk scent proudly! 4laugh
