But seriously, everyone who was thinking I was going to pull the god-mode card out of this needs to have a little faith. I'm not that kind of guy. =/ While it would have been entertaining to go crazy and ggroflpwn everything without regards to proper roleplaying I like this outcome more. Its also more realistic and respects the limits that other RPs have set down.
Oh, and did I mention its a whole lot more fun? twisted
Anyway, you can expect the blast to be the most awe-inspiring craziness of ultimate face kicking that I have no right in even attempting to explain. It'll only last an instant before you know, existence and all thing interested in keep it so (existing that is) step in to prevent it from getting out of hand. That'll be far outside the arena though and wouldn't be an interference for all purposed concerned inside such.
If Vahn survives, Viper's out of gas. From here on it would be hand to hand combat and maybe some sword play, though don't expect much. His speed, offense, and defense is largely reliant on having power to fuel it.
Though I'd like to put it up for a vote that if this does continue we get a new floor to fight on. Cause the old one won't be there, nor will anything else. And who wants to go back and figure out where the two fighters were standing (or floating), how the blast effected their positions, and falling due too gravity etc.
(Deity, do you mind if I hold off on my post till tomorrow? I have a paper to work on today.)

This brings up an interesting question--if there's no floor and both fighters are unable to fly, what happens? Double DQ? xd

I am guessing whomever can stay above the boundary line the longest wins. If no wings, telekinesis, or levitation, then better start throwing powerful energy waves around to alter your direction in midair.

I propose an addendum to the rules: if both participants are above or below the line, they have a three-count (i.e. three seconds) to get back within legal bounds. Now, three seconds seems like a long time when you're falling (because the only time I've fallen for anywhere near that long would be on freefall rides), but it still amounts to three seconds, so the participants would have to think pretty damn fast.

You'll have that "oh s**t" moment, and hopefully the adrenaline coursing through your body helps with the fight-or-flight mechanism. If YOU know the floor's gonna drop out, it'll give you however much time is necessary until it actually happens, when you'll have three seconds to put your Mr. Game and Watch trampoline move into play.

Deity and Malazar have a similar issue...the Southeastern side of the arena has been blown away lower than 10 feet....good stuff...hence, Deity's spent the last many posts just flying about. . =;; ...makes H2H easier when you're fighting a seventy-five-foot walking cannon.

^^ I've actually had that very discussion with Tac (and Jeljel if memory serves, which it doesn't often). He spun me some line about the tournament existing in multiple somethings or another and blah blah blah blah. Notice that the moment he said multiple I stopped listening, but I've been told by the archivist that the general gist of things was that each fight exists seperately from one another.

Spoiler: Everyone dies.Spoiler: After the fight ends and people realize that everyone should be dead, their deaths will be retconned into 'we were miraculously saved' due to Tiem pressing the button on the little thing in his pocket.Anyways, we'd really have to discuss how much of a floor there is left. I mean, if it's a three count but they're like 130 feet down, they're going to have to like tap down and immediately superjump back inbounds and perform the rest of the fight in midair clashes as they pass.
