iBarty Jackie-senpai Great Tattooist Oni Jackie-senpai My boyfriend bought it on sale last Halloween at Best buy....I still haven't seen it, but he liked it. He's REALLY into horror movies though. And I'm really more interested in Oldboy anyways. Ostensibly it's a Yakuza movie. By the end of it I just wanted them all to ******** die. I've never encountered a movie where I came away just purely hating all of the characters that much. It's like the personification of the biggest psychoses lurking at the fringes of Japanese society.
There's a bit of a similar premise between Old Boy and Ichi the Killer, except that Ichi is clearly and intentionally programmed to be exploited as a killer from the beginning rather than the post hypnotic suggestion ******** in Old Boy. I thought Old Boy was a fantastic movie that justified where and how it pushed the boundaries with the magnificent plot, while I felt that Ichi just pushed them for people who like to get off to sick s**t, there wasn't really anything redeeming or profound about the movie.Ah, interesting...makes me want to watch Old Boy more now...I just wish subtitles weren't so harsh on my eyes. gonk I REALLY need an eye exam badly.... I do too...I haven't had one in about ten years (I think a little more now). That was the first one I had before I got glasses which I haven't worn in over four or five years because they broke beyond fixing.Wow....Thats LOT worse than me. I was just saying it because my eyes have been really bothering me lately and I keep getting headaches (in other words its time for a new prescription).

!! Gurren-Lagann Parallel Works: Second Video. That was...interesting... xd So far I think I like the first one better. Me too. The second one was amusing in a ".... eek " sort of way, but I thought the first was REALLY good.

iBarty LunaInverse R.I.P George Carlin crying crying This is one death I'm almost sad about because George Carlin was actually cool. I want to see something with him in it now.I remember being in one of my client's rooms, holding her baby (she had gone to the kitchen to make a bottle), and she had a tv on, and that's where I heard it. I was stunned, because I had no idea he was 71...or that he had heart problems.

Rae x Rae Yoko Gurren-Dan That was...interesting... xd So far I think I like the first one better. Me too. The second one was amusing in a ".... eek " sort of way, but I thought the first was REALLY good. The second one is funnier if you get pachinko, I guess. I understand it on a basic level (never played though) so I get why it's funny and all, but if I were a real addict player I'd probably be rofl'ing right about now. I agree though--first was better. 3nodding

Before that I was like "what are they doing...?"
I loved how they kept showing Yoko's face though in the exact same expression. That made me laugh.

iBarty Life has been changing a little bit for me.. I still pretty much go to work and go home and have no life besides that, but every once in a while some other things happen.
As some of you know I don't like the heat at all, and it's been getting pretty warm lately. Well, despite that I've actually been kind of wanting to get out a little more. I want to go explore, I want to do something..it's kind of weird though.. I think it might be a phase, but I haven't really been online all that much lately. I may show up a lot, but it's only for a few minutes at a time to check messages really. But anyway..so yeah, there's places I want to go around town to take pictures and such because I've been doing that a lot more lately and you can only take so many of the area you live in before you start repeating pictures.
I've been in a pretty good mood lately..it's kind of strange as well, but at the same time it's nice. The other day I met up with a friend that I met on myspace actually. I thought it'd be awkward and such, but it really wasn't for me. I had fun hanging out with him, though I can only hope I didn't bore him too much. razz Originally I was going to do something with him on Sunday night, but then I switched it to Saturday because other plans of mine got changed, and then birthday stuff came up with another friend that was last minute...but either way, we hung out and had fun.
The birthday was fun too, and hanging out with my friends was great. However, we were running late with some things so we didn't really get to watch a movie until after midnight. It finally ended past 2am, but I kept nodding on and off because I was so tired. Haha.. It was an interesting movie/documentary type thing though (what I saw of it anyway..though I did see most of it). Now I am home checking messages and planning on going to bed soon. Yay. The bed will make me happy too. I want to hang out with my new friend again though, lol. I don't know what he really thought of the whole situation though..I just hope I didn't scare him away like the last guy (though the last guy I didn't hang out with, he actually stopped in at the last place I worked at..pfft. He's obviously an a*****e and is a waste of time anyway so there you go). Well, I guess we'll see.
And...my elbow still hurts. Man. When I was at one of my friends' apartment, I was sitting on one of the ends of the futon (they use it for a couch) that had a small mini fridge next to it they don't use except for putting things on top of. Well, when I went to shift at some point or something, my elbow hit the open door. It hurt very bad. Yeah, I'll stop now. I'm really tired and really talkative..great. I love to go out exploring! 4laugh
My life's pretty much all work and home, hanging out with friends and I guess I'm in the same boat you are. Internet life isn't what it used to be but that's okay. Keep at it, getting out there and just trying new things will definitely keep you cheery. whee

Great Tattooist Oni Man, I remember when the idiots in AMC main were idiots because their opinions and methodology were abhorrent, not because they're stupider than a bag of bricks. There's just no sport in it the way there used to be. To wit, Spider Jerusalem versus AnimeDude360 with cameos by BE and Soundwave. Lulz. AnimeDude360 Spider in the comics forum talks about you alot. That guys a jerk, too put it lightly. Totally! biggrin
Heh, just kidding. But seriously, if Watchmen has taught me anything it's that you're only as cool as your villains. I loved lurking the comic forum for Animedude', he was just so fun to read. I remember once he posted something that threw me off, I mean, I'm hard to phase, but it really did. I think it was a genuinely racists remark but then he clarified that he was half black or something

Yeah...I can see just fine with things up close, but when it's reading things far away that's when there's trouble. I need to get glasses, but I want to wait until I have insurance. But, to do that I need to get my a** downtown to a building that has an application for how to sign up through the state.
