Skizzors Dr. Fomite Skizzors Mala's learning to drive before I am? emo (okay, technically by age that makes SENSE, but..) I know. gonk I kind of expected you to beat me to it.Dad's having me mess around in parking lots over the summer but I will start for reals October 1st. Ahh, yes. I remember driving lessons. My dad tried to teach me how to drive a standard for my first driving lesson. I didn't crash or anything, but I decided then and there that I would much rather drive an automatic (I DO know how to drive a standard now, but I won't drive one unless necessary). Still, these gas prices are killing me. It took $40 to fill my tank. I have a Toyota Corolla! They don't have large gas tanks! I feel bad for those SUV owners. Back when I first got my license, gas was only 97 cents! I really miss those days.

Atemu Great Tattooist Oni Atemu, it might even be cooler that the plan didn't work, because getting the girl who doesn't need the plan to get is win. I mean yeah you hatched the plan not because of her expectations but because you care enough to give her the plan... ******** it. You get me. Have an awesome wedding. Yeah. I know. It just threw me all for a loop when she got called to work right when I picked her up. sweatdrop But it happens and I've finally got it over with. I'm getting used to saying fiancee. Awww, s**t. Oh well.

Rae x Rae Well, we're not dating anymore, but I met Zero on Gaia, and we tend to have a great time together.... and then there's Kin, who I adore so freaking much. Online relationships can lead to some great things just because a lot of people feel free-er online than in real life, which can lead to a more open starting relationship, and I honestly think I prefer them...
Though Gaia's message at the end was a little iffy. I'm assuming they didn't mean it as "Go and date random people from the internet!" but it came off that way.... Site Feedback is being a whiny little b***h about it though. I agree, online relationships can be REALLY dangerous, especially if you're not careful, and then even sometimes if you are... but the world is a dangerous place too. There are more *****, rapists, and murderers offline than there are online - that's just common sense (unless every one has a computer and internet access, but I doubt it). I agree there should be more attention paid to being careful online if we're talking about Gaia, but acting like it's perfectly safe anywhere offline isn't the greatest idea either. Well, it's all down to personal experience and lifestyle and whatever, but I am well and truly over internet/long-distance relationships. Been there, done that, got engaged, broke up.
My personal opinion, based on experience, is that you really can't get the full measure of the other person or the dynamic of your relationship until you're really there together physically. To me, a relationship that begins online is only really half of a relationship at best because you're missing some of the real key components of what dating is. If anything ever sparks between Katrina and I again, it's going to immediately move into a conversation of which one of us is moving and how soon.

So..am I the only one that thought that the people shown in a picture don't seem like they belong together? The girl looks like she's all miss popular while the guy seems kind of nerdy. Not that it's a bad thing, but..that's just what I immediately thought. sweatdrop
While I agree about things typically being more open online when it comes to feelings (depends on the person really though), I don't know about online relationships in general anymore. I know some of them work out, but the long distance kills me and because I'm lame, that's all I've ever had was online relationships (some of them I met though). Online relationships ruined relationships as a whole for me, and truthfully..I don't know if I'll ever be with someone because of trust issues and such. It sucks but..I don't know. oo; I didn't think he looked "nerdy". Or that she looked like "Miss Popular". But I probably just saw it differently xd
Haha, Kin and I don't look like we belong together. It amuses me. ... and worries me at the same time gonk Lol..well, maybe it was just me, I don't know.

To me, a relationship that begins online is only really half of a relationship at best because you're missing some of the real key components of what dating is. If anything ever sparks between Katrina and I again, it's going to immediately move into a conversation of which one of us is moving and how soon. The key part in what I said was "lead to". They're a starting point in most cases where it goes far. It's not the full relationship. It's not everything. But it can end up someplace great based on the different starting dynamic.
It's essentially a sped-up, more intimate version of the early-on "Getting to know you" part of dating (which I personally hate like all hell), or at least it always has been in my cases, and when the physical dating comes in, it's a lot more intimate than first dates generally are, but still with the cute awkwardness since it's still a new experience since you're moving from different circumstances and having the chance to explore the relationship in "real life".
Dealing with the distance after is a pain, sure... but I know that if we move in together someday or any of that, it'll be hopefully great, because (again in my experience, which most likely isn't the same as everyone else's) it's rather hard to take it for granted. It'll also give us time to evaluate if we do want to be close on a "permanent" level and such.
Not to mention... I have to be open to long-distance relationships in college if I don't want to be limited only to the students at my school who also reside in my town and break it off immediately with anyone who transfers, or hold off dating until I settle into wherever I might choose to move in a couple years.

So if you want to get in touch with him, just send him a PM.
